Great find!

I love the decor of this place, first off. Then there is the friendly wait staff that makes a restaurant special --especially in the morning. They have an herbal tea I love that is made fresh from tea leaves. Then it is hard to choose what to eat. I like the egg white omelet whose ingredients change daily, I believe.... More

The line was out the door when I went for breakfast. Instead of waiting in line, I was quickly seated because I chose to eat at the counter. Not your standard breakfast choices, so I went with "Plain Jane" with a side order of bacon. Excellent. My server was friendly & my coffee cup was always full. The place can... More

Stopped for brunch today. Had a Bloody Mary to start that came backed with a shot of stout beer. Surprisingly, the two worked quite well together. My tablemate had a mimosa that looked very good. The poppy seed brioche French Toast with blueberries and a lemon sauce was wonderful. The poached eggs with asparagus, pork belly, and hollandaise sauce was... More

I had been wanting to get to Prep & Pastry for awhile and finally did so today. They are open just for breakfast and lunch but the entire menu is available at lunch time. The service was impeccable and the food delicious. 3 of us had lunch-we all ordered different items. I had the Duck Confit Hash and it was... More

I stopped in around noon on a Friday while visiting Tucson for the weekend. I was concerned when I saw the full parking lot and people waiting for tables, but I was able to sit at the counter right away. Ordered the grilled cheese with soup (creamy tomato) and just loved it. The sandwich had brie cheese, tomatoes, pesto -... More

The service was great. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The food was also very good, but some of the additives to their special French toast concoctions made the meal a little too sweet.

Wow! That's what all four of us said when we started to eat. Incredibly innovative & delicious breakfast / brunch. Now I know why the front desk manager at our hotel was practically dancing & singing when she recommended this place! Go! Great mimosas too!

5+ kinds of toast. Similar number of mimosas. Nice thick cut bacon. Lots of regular, also. Many kinds of hash. Good coffee. Really enjoyed the prickly pear mimosa, blackberry compote french toast & apple strudel french toast. Nice open, relaxed feeling. Nice quote on the wall - "A brunch without booze is just a sad late breakfast".

Great environment as soon as you walk in. Laid back hipster staff. Ice cold water with lemon, or a fresh cup of coffee off to the side complimentary as you wait. Bar area, local brew beer on tap or maybe an amazing bloody Mary, or stick with a cup of coffee. For breakfast you have my favorite biscuits and gravy... More
