Love this place

This is now my Go-To place for breakfast or brunch. We got a seat on the patio this time. Excellent food - had molests all around. But got a half order of apple strudel French toast. Was like desert. Four of us fought over, I mean, shared it. wonderful. and their bloody Mary's with a beer back... read more

A colleague and I stopped into prep and pastry before heading to the airport after a business trip to Tucson. There were so many great options on the menu we had a difficult time choosing. We ended up having the green egg and ham omlet and the cure French toast which was lemon poppy seed brioche with blueberries. Both were... More

Great food and better service! This breakfast, lunch place is really fun, with original style of food and the best service I have ever had in a restaurant. I think it is far and away the best breakfast-brunch spot in all of Tucson. My San Francisco son wishes he could be here for breakfast daily. Such a treat.

Prep & Pastry is streets ahead of the average breakfast/lunch place in Tucson. The Service was prompt and professional, and the food simply fantastic. We had duck confit hash, which was a great dish that really came together with the goat cheese mousse on top. The egg on the hash was noticeably high quality. Kudos for that. The chicken breast... We stumbled upon this place and followed the reviews...On St. Patrick's day..The Chef's creation was phenomenal!!..Corned beef Beni on a perfect potato cake and yummy hollandaise!..Back the following day for lunch and had the famous Bahn Mi and my husband had the French Dip...Was good ..not outstanding.....I would absolutely reccommend this place but more for breakfast than lunch..Too many flies... Coming from the mile high city, where dwellers choose to spend weekend mornings standing on-line at the latest, trendiest, booziest, cafe, this charming spot is delectably superior. We'd wait in line here. Two meals in a two day visit .... both unique and perfectly prepared & presented. Loved Green Eggs & Ham. Tip -- set alarm and come early!

Yes the wait for a table on the weekends is long but it is actually worth it. The French toast is amazing (especially the one with the berry compote) and the breakfast cocktails hit the spot. The wait staff are fast and friendly and the food arrives at your table quickly. In my opinion this is the best breakfast spot... More

Enjoyed brunch here on Saturday morning. The place filled up immediately after the 8:00 opening. Though it was busy, service was good for our group of 7 food professionals. I chose the Sweet Potato Hash. The very large portion included diced potatoes, spinach, onions and asparagus. The two eggs were perfectly cooked over easy. The scones ordered by two of... More

After a morning hike, I had a late breakfast here. Wait staff was very attentive and friendly. They're also extremely knowledgable about all the dishes on the menu. Every dish has its own flair. Recommend the Cubano. Can't go wrong here!

I can't say anything bad about any of the four dishes we had for Sunday Brunch. It was all delicious! There is a long wait but it was well worth it. Portion size is large, but not over priced for what you get! I would go back anytime!
