Eggs Benedict at Joël's--traditional, with lobster, or vegetarian--is a perfect, although calorie blowing way to start the day. Good for lunch too. Nothing cloying about the Hollandaise, and the accompanying potatoes are scrumptious. Substitute fruit for less guilt. Service is unwaveringly cordial and friendly, although sometimes harried. There are other goodies here too, including croque monsieur, salad niçoise, quiche, soups... More

I had breakfast and lunch a Joel's during my week at a nearby hotel. Large portions of homemade tasting high quality food. Low prices and eager service.

Quiet ambiance awaits you at this laid back breakfast place where service is fast and efficient and very friendly and the breakfasts all extremely well prepared and your coffee cup never empty. We each had eggs benedict, one lobster and one veggie. Both were wonderful and served with fresh italian bread on the side. The preparations were unusual and very... More

Our bike group goes to Joel's Bistro as one of our destinations. Joel's has inside seating and patio seating. It seems that their business may outstrip the ability of the kitchen to keep up, so, during the lunch period, the time for service can lag.

This is the best breakfast/lunch spot that is very close to the University of Arizona. The eggs benedict, salads, and sandwiches are amazing. You wont go wrong with it. You wont be disappointed. Great for families or for curing a hangover. It's fresh, healthy, and they offer classic French and American foods.

I had not read the reviews about this place before visiting in mid-April 2012. However, I agree with the review that said the lobster omelet was the best omelet she had ever had in her life. It was the best omelet I have ever had in my life and I plan to take friends there soon.

The food was great, I recommend the tomato basil soup. But the service was VERY slow and thinks like water refills had to be requested repeatedly.

My husband and I were visiting my son and his soulmate in Tucson this June. My son had been telling me about Joel's Bistro for quite some time. We went for a late breakfast and could have had lunch but all of us opted for breakfast fare. My son and I had the lobster omelet. His girlfriend had another omelet... More

Small little house with crowded seating, but food is quite good and service was decent. Go here to have a nice breakfast or lunch -- not too pricey and close to campus.

The first time that I went to dine at Joel's Bistro was when I was in Highschool and even back then, I remember being impressed by the time, effort, and detail that Joel puts into every dish. The flavors explode at you, and your nostrils tingle with delight from the wide array of aromas that fill the room. If could,... More
