This restaurant was recommended by some local Tucson residents and the reviews were fairly positive, but the 4 of us weren't very impressed. The fish 'n chips Blue Fin Specialty comprised a heavy, oily battered fish, an overly pickled tartar sauce, but complemented with decent fries. Two of the diners tried the clam chowder and found it heavily laden with... More

Met friends there last night and we had a very nice meal. Oysters Rockefeller for app followed by fish and chips and crusted fish, all prepared perfectly. Their shoestring french fries are" to die for".

Four of us enjoyed this restaurant recently on a mild March evening. The wait staff and servers were friendly, checking on us frequently and keeping us informed. They told us there was a very large party that arrived shortly before we did, which caused us to wait longer for our meals than I would have liked. The food was delicious... More

popped into this place for dinner on st. patrick's day/evening. Some of the crowd was there to party, but overally a pretty much older, sedate crowd. bar area looked like it had potential to be a fun place to spend a few drinks, but again, average age perhaps 60. sat upstairs, waitress was very friendly, helpful and had great suggestions.... People were so kind and accomodating.......sad to say the food was just okay. The mussels were gritty and the rest of the food was overly salty. These nice people noticed that I wasn't eating my mussels and took them off of the bill without having been asked to do it. But I would rather have had tasty edible mussels.

Loved our fresh fish dinner here. We had scallops, trout, and sea bass; all of which were prepared very nicely and tasted great. The service was attentive and staff were all very friendly. Recommend making reservations for dinner if you go at that time.

Went for Valentines Day and it was amazing! Had reservations or we probably wouldn't have been able to get in. The Sea Bass was to die for. It has an outdoor seating area and 2 floors of seating inside. On the weekends they sometimes have live music. Very romantic and enjoyed it very much! Will definitely go again.

Bluefin's Fat Tuesday special was an outstanding treat. All of the staff, dressed in New Orleans Mardi Gras attire, lent a festive air to the very comfortable upstairs dining room. Sazerac cocktails were the special drink and were as good as any that I've had at the Sazerac Bar in the Waldorf Astoria (formerly Fairmount) in the Big Easy. The... More

We met friends for lunch and ate on the patio. Enjoyed the fresh air and sunshine. The food was very good, and even though it's fresh seafood, was pricey for lunch. Our friends are from Maine, and thought the Maine lobster rolls were authentic.
