Untypical (And Delicious) Mexican

I am not a huge fan of Mexican restaurants. They all seem to have the same food. Not so at this place. While the menu does have the standards (tacos, enchiladas, etc) they also have several different items. In addition to a large selection of items containing fish and seafood and called Mariscos, I... read more

First of all their restaurant on Kolb is currently closed while undergoing renovation from a fire so we detoured to their bigger restaurant on Broadway. I agree with the last review – the price based on the food made it a poor value as we were very disappointed about the food quantity and food quality after having lunch there today.... More

Food was good, but way overpriced. Tucson offers way too many nice Mexican restaurants where the prices are more reasonable.

We discovered this restaraunt two years ago on our annual trip to Tucson. I am not a lover of Mexican food at all. The food here, however, is outstanding. The tableside salsa is amazing. They will make it however you personally enjoy it. The location we have been to previously had burned down since we last visited but they had... More

The concept this restaurant has is great, they entertain you making the salsa at your taste. The music is great and the service is also. The food is ok but the ambiance more than makes up for it

Picked this place on a whim (as a first-time visitor just arrived in Tucson) and took the fact that the car park was so full as a good sign. And I was right. The place was noisy and packed so a got a spot on 'the wood'. I must have been dosy because when the nice lady with the trolley... More

We went to the new location 4901 Broadway last night for dinner and we were excited to see how this one turned out and we were all very very disappointed! The restaurant was extremely crowded and while that is normally OK, the way they had the tables setup was horrible. There was 4 people in our party and we were... More

It was Father's Day when I visited with my mom & we ate here. A great selection of items on the menu. Fantastic salsa made at your table fresh! Food was exceptional and nice margaritas too! They even had live music that day which was a real bonus!

Very nice stop. A fun and lively atmosphere, great food and friendly service. They make handmade guacamole at your table and they have a huge margarita selection! Worth your time!
