...Then why not go local and go Eegee's? There's a bit of a limited menu, but the food on it is of high quality for fast food standards and very reasonably priced. Mostly grinders (subs), a few salads and a few specialty french fry concoctions. The namesake drink is hard to describe. It's sort of like a slushy, but better.... more

Eegee's is a local chain of sandwich shops with a specialty slushy-style drink called an eegee. A good friend is one of the two founders. It's good, fresh, honest food, and they make it all in-house. more

Everyday that we were in Tucson, we stopped at Eegee’s for their frozen fruit drinks. The flavor of the month for August was Tangerine Breeze—not exactly our style, so we stuck with standard favorites: Strawberry, Lemon, and Pina Colada.
