Trendy; Good Food; Service Could Be Better

RA Sushi looks cool with its black and red decor. And judging by the number of customers sitting outside by the restaurant's bar eating sushi, it is on many people's "to go to" list for Japanese cuisine. The place appears ready to handle myriad diners, based on all the tables and chairs, inside and... read more

We had a large party of 9 and they say us at a circular table which was perfect! The food was so good, the drinks were fun and the service was excellent. Eating here will be a memory we all will reminisce for years. Highly recommend for a great evening.

(Dan) I've eaten sushi in many places in the world and this is a favorite (in Tucson of all places). Ra was recommended to me by a friend at work. He didn't let me down. I travel to Tucson periodically through the year for business and almost always make Ra a mandatory stop. The sushi and sashimi is always fresh,... More

Stopped at RA per a friend's suggestion, finding friendly staff in a comfortable environment. Everything was ok until sushi arrived...then we were blown away! Presentation, portions and flavor of everything we ordered (from tuna and octopus susi to Las Vegas, Rainbow and other rolls) was fantastic!!! I did not expected sushi in Tucson to be THAT good!!!!

Spent $90 on 4 people including sake and beer. Normally for this much sushi it is over $100 for just my wife and I.

We had dinner during Happy Hour and enjoyed our visit. The wine selection and draft saki were tasty. I love the tuna salad - I have had it every time we have been here. It seemed a bit "flat" at this stay, but I spiced it up with ginger and it was fine. The California rolls were unremarkable but the... More

We enjoyed the Happy Hour menu of well-priced items and specialty drinks--on a lovely winter evening. The presentation of maki rolls is superb, especially their 'famous' Las Vegas roll, albeit was a greasy taste aftertaste to all their fried items. But we tried a lot of items, and had a lot of fun tasting everything; much of it was good,... More

First time sushi victim had my virginity taken here and what a place to try sushi. We were lucky enough to be sat at the sushi bar and watched the very talented chefs make our dinner before our very eyes! I'd recommend anyone pay RA a visit as the food is truly amazing!

I absolutely love sushi and being from out of town I did not know of a quality sushi place to go to. When I asked the concierge at the hotel I was staying at, they told me that directly down the street was a sushi place called Ra. Let me tell you from the moment I got there until the... More
