My husband and I visited Old Pueblo on a Sunday night for the first time. We sat outside on the back patio and listened to the live jazz band playing. I had the petite Syrah and my husband had an IPA on draught, both were very good. We had a couple appetizers, the calamari and snake eggs. I have to... More

Their smoked chicken enchiladas are to die for! Their BBQ pork is great too. We ate there two of our three evenings in Tucson. We probably would have eaten there a third night but we needed a light meal. Great food and great service!

We ate dinner here and loved everything about it. This is not a typical burro and taco shop. The chef is a true gourmet. Our dinners seem to have an extra touch. I will visit every time I am in Tucson.

Yes! and his name is Chef Bryan Vernon. He is exceptional and has a great team around him. I will pass this along and reaffirm that they are doing a great job. We appreciate the review and thank you very much for choosing to dine with us. We look forward to your next visit to Tucson. More

We had lunch at this restaurant. It has a wonderful outside eating area, so if it is a nice day, it really adds to the experience. The food on the other hand was somewhat disappointing. We started with some fresh Guacamole and Chips. I noticed they like lime on their menu, and it showed in the Guacamole, which had so... More

Thank you for the note about the guacamole. Citrus lends to the dish, but too much and overpower it. I will share this with the chef and he will make sure is it prepared correctly. You also note "okay" food, and that is not good enough for us and I apologize. Please send a note about the dishes you have... More

I had been searching online for a restaurant to make reservations for a graduation dinner. We live in Texas so I was a bit hesitant because I wasn't sure about the location. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the restaurant and it was beautiful!! The patio area had a lot of greenery and it was gorgeous-and we hadn't... More

Hi all, So found this restaurant quite frankly through proximity to the La Quinta next door where we were staying the night. The grounds are very attractive and further induce one to want to enter, in this case for an early dinner. Nice entire very comfortable to have dinner in, though it was too hot on this day to eat... Creative menu item names, food is prepared from scratch and made to order. This restaurant can seat the masses or a nice dinner for two. My wife & I enjoyed both of our meals, we will be returning. On Sunday nights' the restaurant has a Jazz night from 7 pm - 10 pm.

Be careful with those Rattlesnake Eggs - some of them have quite a bite (depending on how many seeds are left in the jalapenos when prepared). Thank you for the review. Our chef has a great palate and has fun infusing southwest flavors. We look forward to serving you again soon! More

Two friends who live in Tucson knew of this outstanding restaurant and met us there for a delightful, tasty dinner together under the palm trees and Tucson stars. The food was exquisite and the service good. Portions are large and I was glad I ordered only 1 enchilada instead of 2 or 3! The crime brûlée was enjoyed by all... More

I ordered Chicken-Avocado G-F meal due to my allergies and told waiter of my Lactose allergies too which he wrote down. Hallway thru meal I began to bloat up and felt ill. I was sick for 72+ hours. Is this a chef's revenge for asking for no dairy? Avoid this place if you have allergies. They smile, but the treatment... More

I assure you it was not the intention of our culinary team for asking for no dairy. In fact our executive chef is hypersensitive to allergies (he is allergic to shellfish) and trains extensively on proper handling of the food as he has had experiences similar to yours. I am very sorry this was the case and I am sorry... More

Really tasty southwestern cuisine in a beautiful old Tuscon house. Food was delicious and plentiful. Service was adequate; not over the top which we liked. The only knock was that they could have put a little more Tequila in the Margarita. The first one was tasty, the second was lime juice only.

The rattlesnake eggs are a house specialty and we are so glad you enjoyed them. I will share your comments with the team and they will be excited to read them. I wonder which margarita you had. We make them all from scratch (including our house draft margarita) and the bartenders are trained extensively on the ingredients. I will investigate.... More
