We ate here due to the restaurant being in walking distance from the Lodge on the Desert. The Saturday night we were there, the restaurant was hosting a large wedding party so due to the noise and activity, we ate dinner in one of the booths in the bar area. This is a large place with nice ambiance overall, but... More

I've enjoyed the Old Pueblo Grille for a long time. They have an interesting selection of dishes, many with a southwestern flair and prices are reasonable. I like that they offer a combination option where you can choose two items that come with charro beans and citrus cilantro rice. I like the green corn tamales, grilled fish tacos and beef... More

Service was good. The food was not at the standard it used to be. We ordered the shrimp salad and it was really blah. The salmon on the other salad was over cooked. The famous corn muffins seemed a bit stale. Not what I'm used to at this usually good restaurant.

What a disappointment. We had high hopes based on our hotel's recommendation. What a lousy recommendation. We wanted to give our U of A students a good meal away from campus. This was not it. Service, drinks and food were all bad. We will not go back. Service and food were especially terrible. Don't bother giving this restaurant a try.

This was the first Tucson dining experience for my East Coast visitors, and it was a hit. The place is certainly charming from the outside. Our hostess was MIA (having to do set-ups for a no-show employee) so we had a bit of a wait until things got organized. Our waiter was efficient, friendly, and helpful so that we could... More

Thank you for choosing to bring your out of town guests to OPG! That is a great compliment, as there are many great dining options in Tucson. Curious about the hostess and the set-up situation (we will discuss that one) and I apologize for the wait. So glad to read that the server and bartender were efficient, helpful and friendly.... A really rough start. Went on a Saturday for lunch and the place was pretty dead. Several empty tables hadn't been bussed, which was tacky. We both ordered margaritas, one blue and one prickly pair. They were so bad (sour, no flavor) we had to send them back, and we never send anything back. The waitress apologized and removed them... More

A rough start, indeed. I am very sorry that on a slow afternoon we were unable to meet or exceed your expectations. Thank you for the note on the prickly pear and blue agave margaritas. Since you identified them specifically, we can check the recipes and make sure all bartenders are properly trained. I agree that we should have remade... More

We stayed at the La Quinta next door to this restaurant. The staff recommended this place on a Sunday. The atmosphere is charming and they offer daily specials which we took advantage of. The food was great and we had a pleasant, attentive server. Would definitely recommend.

Located on Alvernon just North of Broadway in Tucson. Close to Reid Park and the Hilton Doubletree. We showed up without a reservation with 16 friends about 8 p.m. last Wednesday. They went out of their way to seat us quickly and our server stayed after her shift to insure all our needs were met. Great atmosphere for business or... More

We've been to OPG several times and have never had a bad meal. They are very accommodating for dietary restrictions and we've always had a pleasant wait staff. The plates are a little expensive, but you get a lot of food! I always have leftovers for lunch or dinner the next day. Their fajitas are delicious :) I love their... More

Love reading that first line of your review :) Our team will be excited to hear that their hard work and dedication is recognized. We agree that having some way of letting our guests know ahead of time that the patio is reserved is a great idea. We just haven't found a great solution. It is a beautiful area and... More

Husband and I went for our anniversary. Everything was perfect. Waiter kept our drinks full and checked back often, but not too often. We had the rattlesnake bites as an appetizer. They were great. For our meals we has the meatloaf and chicken parmesan. Both were literally melt in your mouth good. We will definitely return!
