Fantastic bread & pastry

What a great find! I drove 25 minutes to get there four days out of seven because it was so good. Breads: cranberry pecan is moist, nutty and not sweet. Perfect as is, or with a little; would be great toasted! Multigrain: very nutty/seeded; firm but not dense. Cinammon babka: FULL of nuts... read more

If you try to order a take out sandwich, be sure to check your order before you leave the store. They said they couldn't figure how the order I got home with had nothing to do with the one I paid for, was a fraction of the cost and seemed to have no way to correct it but thought it... More

We love the bread and scones here. We have never actually eaten at the restaurant but have taken sandwiches home to eat later. They have some of the best Cranberry Pecan bread and we love their Cranberry White Chocolate and Lemon Scones. My parents both love the Max Muffalotta sandwich and I have tried their Maddy's Madness and I just... More

I had a good sandwich here, and the soup was pretty decent, too. The service was prompt. It's very pleasant to eat at a table on their nice, shady patio and enjoy the flowers and birds. However, the best part of all is their baked goods. The chocolate cookie I took home for a "later" dessert was amazing!

We got he tortilla soup and a huge portion of their outstanding whole wheat bread. And believe me with the bread, it's a large meal !

The menu is extensive...mostly sandwiches, but WHAT SANDWICHES!!! The breads on all of the 5 sandwiches our party had were superb. Fresh, fresh, fresh. If you do not have a HUGE capacity, might want to consider splitting.

I really like this place for lunch. Breakfast not so much. The salads (especially the Larry Mo and Curry as well as the Tuna) are wonderful. Very big. Te sandwiches are also large and can easily be shared. The Saturday Corned Beef on Pretzel Bread is very good. Breakfast is so-so. Would not get the eggs again (taste reheated) and... More

The "order at the counter then sit and wait for the food to be delivered" thing makes this place a little weird...they have enough staff for table service...but the food was fine and solid. Worth a visit for something simple or some bread!

We were in Tucson for a week in late Dec and heard about Beyond Bread from a local. The fresh baked breads, pastries and quiche were all wonderful as well as the homemade soups. Prices very fair.

This restaurant is "fast casual": order at the counter and wait for your food to be made fresh, self-service beverage bar. Seating is high and low tables, indoors or patio. It's a cross between a bakery, a deli and a coffee bar. They serve fresh, delicious sandwiches, salads and soups and have a huge variety of breads and pastries that... More
