YOSHIMATSU

Very nice small restaurant. Driving to the restaurant gave us doublts because of the neighborhood, but it was fine when we arrived. Sat on sushi side. Gave us Miso Soup , and edamame complimentary. We had Salmon and Tuna Sashimi and a roll, which were fairly priced and good. I had iced black... read more

This place may be healthy but it is such a far cry from a true Japanese experience. The ramen we sampled was the vegetarian and the pork. The noodles were from a box and over cooked. The broth lacked flavor. The egg not properly presented. The overall feeling was awful. The chicken and seafood bento boxes were ok, not great,... More

This place is amazing. They have an extensive menu, that also includes kids. Excellent beverage selections and appatizers; the Spinach and mushroom appetizer is to freaking die. The sushi bar will make you drool...it will...The Pork Gyozas are excellent. Yoshimi ' s favorite salad is quite a treat...big chunks of tuna and avocado. The Bentos are legendary, simple yet flavorful... More

Me and some of the kids at my school went here to try the food. We all had an awesome time! The food came really fast considering that there were 16 of us. The waiters were very nice. We had good seats and complimentary soup and appetizers. At the end we were all super-happy and it was affordable. I love... More

Yoshimatsu Healthy Japanese Eatery is a Japanese restaurant that makes very limited Japanese menu. There are several Bento box meals that you can choose from which seems to be the main part of their menu. I had the Salmon Bento Box and my husband the Cold Noodle Bento Box. The food is very good, the problem is the seating...almost every... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by friends and must agree the sushi was excellent. I had the sushi bento box and loved the selections. My husband had a sushi dinner which was heartier, but both were excellent. Since we had arrived during happy hour (4-7) the appetizers and drinks were discounted, always a plus. The sit-down part of the... More

Overall we had a very good experience here. Saturday night dinner, not crowded, our first visit. There is no longer a order-at-the-counter side...both sides of restaurant are "sit-down." The server was very accommodating to our 2 young kids. The edamame appetizer was a good portion, and did not come with the salt and red pepper already aded. There was some... More

I came in the last four months every couple weeks cause I loved their rice balls and my friends are close so we'd go for lunch. I was passing by and thought I'd get a to go order - called *12* times to try and order it so it would be ready for pick up- never got the phone answered,... More

This is one of may favorite Japanese restaurants. Home-style cooking and the sushi is always great. Not so fancy by any means, but always really, really good. I usually prefer the sit-down area (Shushi-matsu). One of my favorite restaurants. I almost always order sushi.

Yoshimatsu was a great exerience from interaction with the sushi master to a superb waitperson, vanessa. The sushi, soups, dragon rolls, and saki were excellent. Best eel I have ever had. It is a warm and welcoming restaurant, with nice ambience, extensive choices, efficient and friendly staff, and a serene and quiet place to eat and chat with friends.
