One of My Favorite Places!

The cafe is located in downtown Tucson, in a historic house across the courtyard from the Museum of Art. There is a free parking lot off Washington St. Two adults visited for lunch, arriving about 11:00 on a Tuesday, so it was not busy yet (go early to avoid crowd). Atmosphere is casual and... read more

When we moved to Tucson in 2006, this became our very favorite restaurant. The setting, the atmosphere, the fresh food, and the patio (sometimes with guitar player) made us trek across town just to have lunch here. We brought every visitor here, as we could depend on the consistency of both food and service. Then in April 2012, we brought... More

Excellent small restaurant attached to the Tucson Museum of Art. Everything that I've tried has been very good, especially the desserts (don't leave without one). The only issue I have with the place is that you order at the counter and a server will bring out the food. While this doesn't seem like a big deal, the line at lunch... More

A group of us went for a business lunch -- two of us ordered the same steak salad and ended up sitting next to each other. BOTH of us were exclaiming and moaning about how awesome it was (sorry if you were at the next table!). So good -- the flank stank was honey hoisin sauce glazed and the salad... More

We were touring the museum and historic homes and were delighted to find this place, located within one of the historic homes that have been preserved in the area. The patio was beautiful, and even through it was December, we were able to sit outside. The food was fresh and yummy.

I was invited to see a friend and his band play here a couple years back and it instantly became a favorite! Wether you are looking for breakfast, lunch, or dinner this is the place to go! The menu is expansive and everything on it is delicious. It's a quaint, yet beautiful place to sit, relax, and savor.

This is a delightful small restaurant in a historic building near downtown Tucson. The menu is small, but the food was excellent. The dessert case was full of wonderful choices and was as good was the rest of the food. Our waiter was busy, but did a great job. Make a reservation as it can get busy.

We went for lunch mainly because the were rated as having one of the best cinnamon rolls in town, and they deserve the high rating. We managed to get the last rolls for the day, and savored every morsel. As a second course, they have some fine sandwiches. A parmesan crusted option was particularly tasty.

We ate there on a Sunday evening, and had a great appetizer, good wine at Happy Hour prices, and a wonderful dinner.

We arrived for an early lunch, saw that we needed to place our order at the counter, take a number to place on the table and wait for the food to be brought to our table. No problem. We settled on the lovely patio --even though the interior rooms looked attractive as well. Service was friendly and quick. Our brisket... More
