Great Mexican food!

We stopped in here by chance when the place recommended by the hotel was packed, what a lucky break! It was busy but had room. I had a platter with enchiladas rice and beans and was very pleased. The food was served hot and fresh. I could taste the individual items without it all blending together... read more

On this ocassion I took my family who traveled 3000 miles to be here. Food was plain mediocre, our waiter was fantastic. However, there was a lot of foot traffic around our table with waitresses and servers practically colliding every time they walked past.

We had the special of the night- carne asada- which was cooked perfectly. Add to that homemade, on-the-spot corn tortillas and a cold beer, it was a wonderful meal. Service was fabulous and would definitely visit again.

I ordered the special. The red sauce and rice were so salty I couldn't taste the food. We had to go find our waitress for the check. A hotel staffer suggested it. Wish we had just picked one ourselves. Who would think it was so hard to get good Mexican food in Tucson Arizona?

I ate breakfast here while I was staying in Tucson for business. This was the best Huevos Rancheros I have ever eaten... Be sure to get it with the fresh tortillas and chorizo!! The atmosphere was pretty cool as I was able to watch a woman (maybe Teresa) make the fresh tortillas at the front of the restaurant. I will... More

We have eaten here every time we visit Tucson. This is the first time I left feeling disappointed. I ordered my fav, fish tacos. My friends did as well based on my recommendation. They were just not as good as years past. For the first time ever, the restaurant was only half filled. It might have been due to road... More

Food was great, but the service left a lot to be desired. We were there at 2 pm which is not prime time and it was very slow, noisy, and our bill included someone else's dinner. They corrected the bill but no apology. I think AAA oversold the place.

We were taken here by local friends and was rather disappointed by the small portions, high prices and slow service. While the mole was good it was a very small plate and it took a long time to arrive. I mean usually you get way too much food at mexican places this was the opposite.

Great food and friendly service. We met some friends here and had a wonderful, unhurried meal together. Family atmosphere but a full bar as well. Tortillas are made daily and add to any menu item with their freshness. Eight people in our group and everyone had nothing but good things to say about their entree.

My husband and I had lunch at this colorful well-decorated restaurant. The hostess was very friendly and seated us promptly. We both ordered huevos rancheros with sides of bacon and guacamole. The waitress was polite and efficient. we would eat here again in a heartbeat and recommend it highly.
