Local and Great

I rented a casita for a week on the west side of Tucson and the owners recommended Teresa's as a great spot that locals frequent and raved about the freshly made flour tortillas. It was great! I went at about 6:00 and it was full - dining area off to the left and bar on the right. Didn't want... read more

Went their because the huevos ranchero were promoted as beating Bobby Flay. Good flavor but light on food. And left Hungary. Would not go back for that but would try other entrees.

It was terrible. First I made a reservation. that is in itself was like talking to the village idiot(s) . by the window I requested. We got there and the hostess said that they do not guarantee that. So we opted for the table for 2 and had another chair added. We ordered and we waited and waited and waited.... More

We flew into Phoenix from Philadelphia and met our Tucson friends here before going to their home. What a treat it was. Guacamole was excellent. I had the chicken and cheese enchallitas with a red sauce. They were delicious. Very busy at lunch time.

On this ocassion I took my family who traveled 3000 miles to be here. Food was plain mediocre, our waiter was fantastic. However, there was a lot of foot traffic around our table with waitresses and servers practically colliding every time they walked past.

We stopped in here by chance when the place recommended by the hotel was packed, what a lucky break! It was busy but had room. I had a platter with enchiladas rice and beans and was very pleased. The food was served hot and fresh. I could taste the individual items without it all blending together as can happen with... More

We had the special of the night- carne asada- which was cooked perfectly. Add to that homemade, on-the-spot corn tortillas and a cold beer, it was a wonderful meal. Service was fabulous and would definitely visit again.

I ordered the special. The red sauce and rice were so salty I couldn't taste the food. We had to go find our waitress for the check. A hotel staffer suggested it. Wish we had just picked one ourselves. Who would think it was so hard to get good Mexican food in Tucson Arizona?

I ate breakfast here while I was staying in Tucson for business. This was the best Huevos Rancheros I have ever eaten... Be sure to get it with the fresh tortillas and chorizo!! The atmosphere was pretty cool as I was able to watch a woman (maybe Teresa) make the fresh tortillas at the front of the restaurant. I will... More

We have eaten here every time we visit Tucson. This is the first time I left feeling disappointed. I ordered my fav, fish tacos. My friends did as well based on my recommendation. They were just not as good as years past. For the first time ever, the restaurant was only half filled. It might have been due to road... More
