As members of the Desert Museum, we try to come here often. Having lunch at the Ironwood Terraces is always a treat. Until now, we always ordered the Mushroom Burgers as they are so delicious. Yesterday (10/17) we decided to try the "Green Chile Burgers" and sweet potato fries to share. The burgers and the fries were so outstandingly tasty,... More

This was the only option available at the AZ Desert Sonora Museum in June. The other restaurant was closed. The view is nice. Two people had the green chile burger. We could see the chef cook the burgers on the grill with flames which was a good sign and those who had the burger were very pleased -- they were... More

This was a great option for us. It is reasonably priced and quite delicious. We got the green chili burger and green chill chicken. It was wonderful. We sat out on the terrace. The weather was great and the staff are wonderful.

We opted for the Ironwood Terraces for lunch while visiting the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum. First the good news: the cafeteria-style service was efficient and pleasant; prices were decent and -- coming from the cold North -- we loved the opportunity to eat lunch outside. The food, however, was inedible. I had a fish salad. The greens and dried cherries... More

Has great hamburgers, pizza, Mexican food and salads. Has some of the local flavor with prickly pear sauce or cilantro dressing. You can sit inside or outside. Great break for a snack or lunch when visiting the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum

I ate at this cafeteria when visiting the Arizona-Sonora desert Museum. While the it's only cafeteria food, it is pretty good. My son and I had Pizza and soda, and while tasty, I thought we overpaid. Neverhteless, I recommend it.

After a 4 hour morning visit to the Desert Sonora Museum (Fabulous!), my husband and I were quite hungry and thirsty. We ate at the Ironwood Terraces and were very impressed with the food and the service. The staff, especially the cashier, were very friendly and helpful. Topped off a wonderful visit to this hidden gem of a place!

Great variety of food, beautiful views, reasonable prices/ and friendly helpful staff. Off season is the time to enjoy a more peaceful dining experience. March & April are very busy so get there early to eat.
