Wow..very hot inside restaurant. We asked if they had air conditioning and the waitress said yes, we are told to keep it above 80. Well, anyone who lives in Tucson understands that it's very hot in summer months. We all look for air conditioning restaurants in Tucson, which there are many who realize it is needed to make your return... More

Been to many places like this especially during our younger days. This is a restaurant geared for the university crowd. Ate outside on a very pleasant Monday night and it was packed with students. The service was not good at all and the server blamed the kitchen and the bar for not getting food and drink to us. Just not... More

The college crowd was pretty much thinning out and I came with friends for drinks and food in the evening this time around. This is a real favorite for this area and the patio seating is so relaxing when it's not crazy with students and games, etc. Our server was a bit green (maybe really new?) but I give her... More

Outside seating having a beer watching the people walk by in the nice warm sun. 78 degrees in March is much appreciated and this restaurant was icing on the cake.

We went here for lunch and to watch a football game on tv. There are tv's everywhere. The food is really good and they have an excellent choice of beverages. If you're older than 30 years expect to be ignored by your fellow customers. The service was promt and courteous.

We were exploring Tucson on New Year's Day and stopped in here for lunch. We sat on the patio which was either hot in the sun or a little cool in the shade, but felt great to be outside! Food and drinks were all very good. Music a little loud, but since we're not the typical "university crowd" it's probably... More

I just moved to the U of A area for the winter and there are so many places to walk to. Frog & Firkin seems to be one of the most popular with the students. It can be crazy at times so I relished coming with a friend for lunch during the week. The waiter was courteous & friendly, the... More

Our U of A son-in-law tennis coach gave us the campus tour during our two weeks in Tucson with some exposure to the shops, cafes, and restaurants of University Avenue. Frog and Firkin was their favorite so lunch was enjoyed in their outside seating. The student waitress was good at her job and added local color to the dining. The... More
