This is where we go before concerts at the Tucson Music Hall - you can park at the Music Hall and walk across to the restaurant. Really nice atmosphere and good food. Good Happy Hour deals. Just a bit noisy. First class except for the paper napkins!

Host (owner?) was helpful and chatty. Decided to order burgers and which were huge and cooked perfectly to order (medium rare.) The side of roasted potatoes were pretty dry and an order of the bacon mac and cheese was sadly lacking in cheese. It was very watery. Disappointing. All in all, it was fine and I would probably go again,... More

Four of us. All agreed, food was very good. Drinks were imaginative and good. Wines were good. Server was a very genial fellow.

My husband and I booked Cushing Street for our October, 2014 wedding. We had eaten there a couple of times before and were impressed with the quality of the food and charmed by the historic ambience. Once we started discussing our wedding plans with the staff, we knew we had found our perfect venue--a beautiful space with great history, and... More

As a native Tucsonan it was a pleasure to go back to a older mainstay after many years. We were pleasantly surprised by the fabulous food and the service. Love the fact this was a historic building but as a designer by trade felt more could be done with the mostly empty white walls. I have a great solution that... More

Perfect choice for treating an out-of-town guest to Tucson's charming historic area in an old adobe. We went for Friday night jazz, a wonderful accompaniment to a memorable summer meal. Swordfish, Cajun meatloaf, and pasta were all good. We splurged on three desserts and worth it. Highly recommend the experience!

Weddings can be quite stressful and getting married on a Sunday meant finding a restaurant to accommodate 40 people for a rehearsal dinner on a Saturday. This seemed like a daunting task! However, when contacting Betsy (owner) and her staff at Cushing Street she put our worries at ease and reassured us that Cushing Street was a perfect place for... More

One of the definite highlights of my recent trip to Tucson was a stop at the Cushing Street Bar and Grill. I ordered the swordfish and my dining companion had the chicken and couscous. We were both over the moon with the presentation and intricate flavors and contrasting textures. I was delighted when my plate arrived and I found a... More

Small, but nice place. Excellent, fresh mojito! Appetizers were the best! We had the bacon mac and cheese- creamy and awesome. And the chorizo stuffed mushrooms- also wonderful! My husband had the cajun meatloaf, which was good, but really just good meatloaf, nothing special. I had the artichoke and carrot saute, which was very fresh and delicious, but not as... More

Hopefully you will come back later this summer to sample the new menu we are putting out. You definitely enjoy food, and we appreciate your comments. Also, the compliments mean so much to us. While the service team is in direct contact with our customers, those of us who are not always in the front of the house can get... More
