Don't come here if you want a wide selection. This is working-man's food, for working men. It's inexpensive, but oh so good. There are four selections to choose from. It's a hole-in-the-wall place, but as soon as you walk inside you are embraced by the smell of authentic mexican cooking. Tables and chairs are arranged through a series of small... More

What they lack in variety, they more than make up in quality. Everything was fresh, flavorful and made with care. Don't let the paper plates fool you, the food is a masterpiece.

Ate here twice on a recent trip to tucson. Everyone in the party loved the food. Had a torts for the first time and was blown away by how good it was. It is basically a mexican style sandwich, with a yummy toasted roll that is slightly sweet and overflowing with delicious chicken. Carne asada tacos were also pretty good... More

Found this hole in the wall place just north of the VA hospital on 6th. Walked in to a very clean restaurant with basic menu choices and a daily special. I tried the carne asada and carnitas tacos. Both were absolutely amazing. The sides of fresh veggies, rice, and beans were really good. Make sure you try the salsa. The... More

What a great place. Food fresh, so tasty and plentiful. The torillas, both corn and flour were wonderful. Love the Pico de Gallo, which is fresh fruit, coconut, with chili and salt here. The beans were delicious. Only complaint was the the chicken taco was a bit salty. All things served on styrofoam with plastic knives and forks. Nice people... More

This place looks a little sketchy, but the food is fine. Authentic taqueria feel. I liked their homemade horchata. Most places seem to serve a mix. Tacos were okay. A little mild on the spice compared to what I'm used to. The tortillas they used were really fluffy as well. Most places I've been serve taco on two thin flat... More

A friend recommended was a bit hesitant as the outside and location is a smidge sketchy, but amazing quick food - we went twice on a quick visit. You must try the "pico de gallo" which is fresh fruit with lime, salt and chile powder. Delicious after a long hike!

Been here for breakfast, lunch & dinner. All have been absolutely stellar. Simple place, atmospherewise, but always with fantastic food at more than decent prices. The homemade corn tortillas are a standout as is the birria & the huevos mexicanos. Great tacos, too. As an added plus, it's near Food City in case you forgot something. Don't miss it!

Busy and basic cafe w interesting eats. The eponymous fruit salad is worth stopping for! Fish taco is good too. Service is quick enough for a weekday lunch.
