What a great place. Food fresh, so tasty and plentiful. The torillas, both corn and flour were wonderful. Love the Pico de Gallo, which is fresh fruit, coconut, with chili and salt here. The beans were delicious. Only complaint was the the chicken taco was a bit salty. All things served on styrofoam with plastic knives and forks. Nice people... More

This place looks a little sketchy, but the food is fine. Authentic taqueria feel. I liked their homemade horchata. Most places seem to serve a mix. Tacos were okay. A little mild on the spice compared to what I'm used to. The tortillas they used were really fluffy as well. Most places I've been serve taco on two thin flat... More

A friend recommended was a bit hesitant as the outside and location is a smidge sketchy, but amazing quick food - we went twice on a quick visit. You must try the "pico de gallo" which is fresh fruit with lime, salt and chile powder. Delicious after a long hike!

Been here for breakfast, lunch & dinner. All have been absolutely stellar. Simple place, atmospherewise, but always with fantastic food at more than decent prices. The homemade corn tortillas are a standout as is the birria & the huevos mexicanos. Great tacos, too. As an added plus, it's near Food City in case you forgot something. Don't miss it!

Busy and basic cafe w interesting eats. The eponymous fruit salad is worth stopping for! Fish taco is good too. Service is quick enough for a weekday lunch.

Corn tortillas heavy, fish and shrimp in a heavy batter, two small shrimp in gigantic batter shell per taco, beans pretty tasteless, rice -- well, it's rice, carne asada tacos not bad.

This is how to do basic Mexican for the average Joe -- simply tacos, burritos and tortas with the right meats and fix'ins. The salsa they provide is excellent. It is in the heart of south Tucson. Not a date place -- nothing fancy -- just good affordable Mexican food. I'd go back again and again.

If you haven't tried tacos with lengua, birria, and other Mexican delicacies (and you're an adventurous eater who doesn't expect your tacos to taste like Taco Bell) you need to try this place. There's no decor, no table service, no fancy plates, no view (except other diners), nothing but the excellent tasty tacos in a lot of styles. Don't miss... More

I had a mix of the fish and shrimp tacos. It was delicous. Good service. This is not a fancy place, but they put out really good food. It's worth a visit and it's worth a second !
