Great Place for a Summer Meal

Great place for a summer meal. We like the table side guacamole with a house margarita for starters. A good menu selection but the ribs are one of our favorites. Nice view of the 18th hole of the golf course with the waterfall behind it. Generally, not crowded. Good service but a bit pricey.

My husband and I ate here for our fourth anniversary and had a great experience! We both ordered the beef tenderloin and it was delicious. Our server, Mike, was super attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and wine options.

My wife and I ate here for our anniversary, and the wait staff was extremely nice. I called ahead and they put BEAUTIFUL flowers at our table and made it look very romantic. The food was simply amazing. I ate the Ribeye steak ($45) and my wife had the filet ($40). Both plates were cooked perfectly and I would definitely... More

After my trip here, my expectations of every other restaurant are set really high! My date and I sat out on the patio, there was a beautiful view of the mountains. Our server was named Michael, and he was very knowledgeable about everything that was on the menu and answered any questions we had and also made great recommendations! The... More

Delicious food, great ambiance, excellent service all combined make for a great dining experience. The table-side guacamole will all fresh ingredients is so fantastic I recommend it for everyone. While it is a bit pricey it is worth every penny.

As a Tucson resident, this is not my first visit to the Flying V, and it will certainly not be my last! Previous visits always included our children (and the kids always have a blast! The staff is super accommodating and friendly with them, and they are provided with snack "amuse" plates prior to their meals to keep them occupied!),... More

The Flying-V is quickly becoming one of our favorite restaurants in Tucson. Situated at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in the Catalina foothills, the setting is pleasant and overlooks the city. The menu provides a variety of flavors at reasonable prices. The table-side guacamole is incredible and mixed to suit your taste. The starters and sides are creative and very... More

Stayed at the Loews Ventana Canyon resort for our 25 year anniversary and dined four nights in a row at the Flying V. While we have been here before we were compelled to write about how much we enjoy this place. Rock, the manager, greeted us graciously each night and either he or one of the friendly hostesses seated us.... More
