This is truly a local dining experience in the city. The service was prompt, courteous and friendly. The food was like downhome cooking. And, the portions are large! We were there on a weekday morning this summer and the place was packed. Our server told us that on weekends and in the "season" the line is out the door. That... More

This is a popular breakfast stop in Tucson but we found it to be only average in service, atmosphere and food. There are better choices in the area. Our group had pancakes, huevos rancheros, and a couple of different egg dishes. A request for some salsa on the side brought a comment that it would be an extra cost. Any... More

We treated our friends to breakfast at the Hungry Fox. Very local diner like atmosphere. We were seated and waited on promptly. Our food was delivered in the appropriate time. Eggs were double yoked. Biscuits were huge and the gravy was very tasty. Would definitely go there again. No wifi network available.

Food was great if you have time to wait. Seems most places in Tucson do not care about how fast they get you in and out. The wait staff was friendly even for having to work on Christmas Eve.

Having the last name Fox it was a must to try this "local" restaurant. They were recommended by our hotel as one of the best that locals go to. Upon entering....Rick met you with a smile and seated us in a very quaint and homey dining area. Our waitress Rose was right there with coffee, water and menus. We order... More

We stopped here for a Saturday breakfast. They had a banquet, so the service was a bit slow, but they apologized for that. The food was good and the atmosphere, while not elegant or romantic was comfortable. We will be giving them another chance. Great value.

My husband and I went to the Hungry Fox to use a Restaurant.com certificate. I had a Sonoran Skillet, and my hubby had steak and eggs. Both were cooked to perfection. It's not fancy, but it is comfortable and homey, and everything tastes homemade. Yum!

I love the homemade bread here and I always get it. The omelettes are very nice and my wife likes the biscuits and gravy. A favourite for 15 years.

They have a couple of great skillet breakfasts. Big enough to share one large for two. Get the hash browns prepared crispy in it and its a sublime mix of textures from crunchy to creamy with great breakfast flavors. The cinnamon roll is outrageous. Love the old diner service with a little attitude.

Waited a half hour to sit down, the service was slow, the food was average, the booth was uncomfortable. They don't make a customer feel like a customer. More like they're doing you a favor. There are lots of places in Tucson to eat. Just pass this place & go to the next.
