Tasty dinner, yes Dinner!, at Millie's.

Just finished a very nice dinner at Millie’s, a favorite breakfast spot. They are only open evenings Thursday through Saturday, 5:00 to 9:00 (a bit of an experiment, apparently, only since December). My husband and I both opted for German entrees – he got a special - pork spareribs with... read more

This place has a great reputation for breakfast. But now they're serving dinner so its like a new restaurant in town. The menu is somewhat German food oriented. I had Hungarian Goulash with red cabbage. It was excellent my wife had a large salad and I had a small salad with my dinner both excellent. My wife rarely gives any... More

Ok, this place has a neat look to it. Kind of reminds me of my grandma's house. However, the food is pretty lousy. The "potato pancakes" were basically paper thin hash brown patties. The Reuben sandwich looked and tasted like they coated the bread with butter then slowly fried it on a 120 degree skillet for hours until the butter... More

Millis' is a treasure on Tucson's westside. Great home atmosphere and you can't beat the variety of pancakes, crepes and blintz. If you are looking for a taste of Germany come here.

I was looking for a German restaurant in Tucson. A friend recommended Millie's and suggested that we try it for breakfast. My wife and I went there at about nine AM and were promptly seated. Then we waited, and waited, and waited some more. Apparently we were invisible to the waitstaff, as no one ever came to take beverage orders... More

We just happened on to Millie's during lunch hour. I had the Rueben sandwich and it was the best Rueben I have had in a long time. It was made with Millie's own Rye bread and was great. The rest of the party gave all the food a thumbs up. Jessie L was our server and she did a great... More

Our recent visit to Millie's was atrocious. Haven't been the restaurant in a couple of years but decided to take some family for breakfast. I had bragged on how delicious the food was. All of our food was cold and two were not as requested and one meal was forgotten completely. The kitchen was extremely filthy as you have to... More

Ten of us went there for breakfast to celebrate my husband's birthday. One of our guests ordered the german pancake in advance since it takes 20 minutes. After everyone arrived, we then ordered. We waited a long time (at least 45 minutes). Our waitress said the german pancake was burt, so they made a new one. It was nice that... More

We had the pecan pancakes and potato pancakes. If you think all pancakes are the same, you are wrong. These were fluffy melt in your mouth good. The potato pancakes were good also but I got them assuming a pancake is a pancake.

Went with friends as a party of 6. We were seated immediatly. Sadly, that's where the good services ends. Some of us did not get all of the food we ordered, our drinks were unattended to, and our waitress came back just once to check on us. When it came time to get our bills, we asked that the food...
