As a veteran Tucsonan, I do not usually review hometown venues. But with so many visitors coming to the Old Pueblo, I'm recommending The Cup restaurant in the historic Hotel Congress for those who might like the exciting new downtown vibe. With inside and outside seating, the fall and spring are the best times to dine alfresco. But alfresco includes... More

Ate here for breakfast and had the "build your own omlette" option. One of the choices for ingredients was turkey chorizo and I had to have it. It was a great choice! Highly recommended. Only caveat is that it seems to be very busy all the time, so not a good choice if you're in a rush. A very satisfying... More

Even on a busy Halloween evening the service was attentive and polite. Our server (so sorry, I don't remember her name), strawberry blond hair was thoroughly knowledgeable about the drink and food menus. Not just in verse from what was in the drinks but the flavor profiles and differences, bitter, sweet, citrus. The food recommendations were fantastic the three of... More

When you walk into the Hotel Congress, it's like going back in time to the wild wild west. It has great history and a fun ambiance. The Cup Cafe is a small diner inside of Hotel Congress. But, in the nice weather is has a great patio. The food was delicious. We went there for lunch and it was a... More

As always, this place never is bad. Its my weekend getaway from el paso & i love it. Ive traveled the world, but this place still makes me smile. The staff is great and always fun...makes you feel like a teenager again... Loud as he&@ , but eclectic..just do it!

Great ambience! Great menu! I always have the tuna nicoise salad with the purple potatoes and soft boiled egg. Never disappointed! Great light and parking is convenient.

We shared a lovely Tucson am downtown at the Hotel Congress. Breakfast was leisurely and tasty. It was a bit slow and expensive but we were not into rushing anyway. Coffee and water refills were plentiful. RECOMMEND.

A last-minute decision to eat a late breakfast here turned out to be a great move. We sat on the patio, which makes for fun people (and dog) watching. Service was prompt and friendly and our waiter helped us choose from the menu. Both meals were good, but the corned beef hash and poached eggs dish was truly outstanding. The... More

Stopped here with friends after a funeral. Needed something to pick me up, and this place did exactly that. Extensive breakfast menu. Hard to decide what to order. Interestingly, all four of us ordered the same thing: the Gunpowder. Potatoes, covered with turkey chorizo, topped with two eggs of your choice, and cheese and toast. Didn't need lunch, and may...
