We have lived in the Tucson area for over 11 years, and never have visited Cup Cafe until this evening - and success! It is our new favorite place. The historic hotel lobby is beautiful; the food, ambiance, and service feel like fine dining, but the atmosphere and attitude is Tucson Best = casual and friendly. The Heartbreaker appetizer was... Went to the Cup Cafe with a co-worker, her mother and her teenage son. Loved the funky decor (all of us)! and there was a great outdoor patio area (although we opted for indoors). We had an attentive and on-it waiter who knew his stuff. We ordered everything from the trout to a burger to fish and chips - everyone... More

If the Cup Cafe was in operation in the ’30’s, it’s no wonder John Dillinger holed up there. We were downtown anyway, on our way to the Smokey Robinson concert at Casino del Sol, had heard a lot about the great restaurant in the Hotel Congress and decided to try it. The food, service and prices make it worth being... More

My favorite restaurant in Tucson, the Cup's unique ambiance flows from the old architectural style of the hotel which combines with a flavorful menu, long on pure simple ingredients, that always ends in the best pie in town. It's a fun reason to pass all those chains and head downtown.

The breakfast menu at The Cup is spectacular, interesting, different, high quality and the service is spectacular, and high quality. the atmosphere is historic and makes for a perfect father's Day for people who love the history of the old west. The Deposition 'skillet' breakfast is huge and satisfying and has that touch of the Southwest with the chorizo.

My husband loved the baked eggs for breakfast. it's one of their signature meals. I had the omelet. Both tasty meals. You get plenty to eat. You can sit inside or out. They are dog friendly.

Dogs are always welcome at The Cup. We like the idea that when you're out walking the dog on a nice evening, you can stop in for a drink and some of our $5 Bar Eats. More

Even on 3-digit days, on Friday evening the happening place seems to be the downtown district near Congress and 6th Ave. We dropped in at the Cup Café for a light snack. With all the unique, delicious sounding offerings it was hard to make a decision but our waiter was both patient and helpful. We settled on the Nicoise Salad... More

Even with 100+ degree weather, our plaza becomes a great place to eat after sunset. If you liked our Canyon Road Chardonnay, it's now only $4 between 4PM and 6PM Monday through Friday. More

Whenever we go to a musical performance at the Hotel we eat at the Cup Cafe and have their taco's. They are some of the best taco's in town. The handmade flour tortillas from Anita St. Market compliment their delicious fillings. The Cup Cafe also has other delicious dinners and a super cocktail wine/beer selection. Our waiter Joe was really... More

the cup has the best selection of breakfasts in Tucson. You can enjoy the outdoor seating or eat inside. Just get there early, the lines can get long.

We do everything to get people in as fast as we can, but to help the wait go by faster, on Sunday's we have live jazz from the Hot Club of Tucson, and our world famous Build-Your-Own Bloody Mary Bar. The time flies right by. More

My family ate here before my daughter's graduation and had 5 different plates (mixed berry crepes, huevos rancheros, gunpowder, an omelet and the Braveheart - note the interesting and fun dishes). All dishes were excellent. Service was good and the decor was very old Tucson. Bloody Mary was top-knotch. Highly Recommended. Apparently, it is quite a hot spot at night.

Cup Cafe may be where the action is during the day, but you're right about the nighttime. There is no nightclub in Tucson quite like Club Congress, and defiantly nowhere as fun. More
