Food has gone downhill since our last trip to Tucson for the gem show. Polenta so hard I couldn't cut it with a fork. My husband commented his dish had a strange flavor. Our guest ate less than half of her fish and chips. Best part was the very nice server. We recommend visiting the bar for a drink to... More

We are thoroughly upset to hear that your experience with us was so unfavorable. We are glad that you had good service, but we pride ourselves on the whole package for each guest, every time: great food, beverage, and ambiance, in addition to service. We do also wish we knew what you specifically experienced with the food aside from the... More

You must be referring to our installation by the fabulous Jenny Holzer in the top room at The Cup! She made that piece for us in 1991 before she gained the amount of acclaim she has today; it's one of a kind, and definitely a great conversation starter! We are so glad you enjoyed your appetizer choice! Chef Tony succeeds... More

We had our company party here last Sat night and of course we had a few drinks at the bar first. Keith makes a mean Bloody Mary and on Sunday they have a do it yourself Bloody Mary Bar. Food and service were great recommend them for dinner, lunch or breakfast. Lots of good music and lots of fun at... More

Thank you so much for choosing us for your company party! With all of our different spaces and goings-on at the Hotel Congress, it's difficult not to have a good time on a Saturday night here! We are so proud of our bar staff and their bloody mary talents; they complete the total brunch experience on Saturday and Sunday morning!... More

I went there for dinner on a Saturdayand did use the open table reservation option. Highly suggest that you do reservations if going on a Friday or Saturday night since it seems to be pretty crowded. I had the steak which was perfectly cooked to my desire with a twice baked potato. Everything from the food to the service was... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such kind words! We have an incredibly talented team of grill cooks on our kitchen team, so we're thrilled you had the steak, you can't go wrong! I am however a bit worried that there may have been a miscommunication from our staff somewhere during your visit with us,... More

Dined here with my hubby for a date night. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and food. We sat outside and enjoyed watching the pedestrian traffic. The food was delicious and the service more than adequate. Good for couples and friends meeting for a meal. Unpretentious food.

Thank you so much for leaving the kind words that you did, we are so happy that you enjoyed your experience with us! You'll have to try us for brunch, its the best meal of the day. Our bloodies and mimosas perfectly compliment the baked eggs and pancakes! More

Nice place to have a good breakfast. The ambiance is a nice sorta hipster place. The food is pretty good although portions are way to large. I had the pancakes which could have fed both of us. My partner had the eggs sunny side up. Good place, and I would go back. Probably much nicer on warm days when you... More

We are so glad you enjoyed your breakfast! It is certainly a treat to be able to sit on the patio when the spring weather hits; it looks like we've finally gotten there! We very much apologize for the lack of promptness it seems you experienced during your visit. While that is not the norm for us, if it ever... More

This is a hotel restaurant that feels like a stand alone place, small and charming with a history stretching back 96 years. We had dinner before going to a concert, and it was quite crowded on a Sunday night at 5:30. Reservations are essential inside, although there was plenty of space on the patio. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgable.... More

I have passed your food suggestions on to our chef for his consideration. We apologize for the errors in ordering that you experienced,... More

Eating at The Cup can require some patience. Sometimes the service is slow, for the price of the food. The weekend breakfasts are consistently good though.

Thank you so much for frequenting us for brunch! We think its the best meal of the day. Fortunately, and unfortunately, many Tucsonans (as well as visitors!) tend to agree with us, so due to the limited capacity of our restaurant, during the busiest times there can be a bit of a wait. We very much hope that the Bloody... More

3 friends and I were there during Dillinger days. The baked eggs were absolutely delicious as was the quiche per my friend. Another had the ahi on salad, excellent and the 4th had the fish and chips which was 'just' enough. The waitstaff is very attentive, even during this very busy day. The prices were very reasonable.

My husband and I ate here January 23rd, with another couple before a jazz concert at the Rialto, right across the street. We have had breakfast here but never a dinner. We had reservations at 5:30 and our table was ready, with Open Table, the way to go with reservations. I had the cream of mushroom soup, which was one... More

What a fun evening! We are so lucky to be situated in the middle of so many venues and therefore be visited by a large amount of guests coming in for a pre-show bite!. That being said, you are absolutely correct in your suggestion for reservations. Our space is everything that we need, but we are not the largest of... More
