I often enjoy a relaxed and tasty lunch experience. Not the fanciest of sushi places, but that is its most alluring quality. I feel like I'm having lunch with friends. Reasonably priced and the serving staff polite. If you are a sushi snob, then go else where, but if you're looking for a local sushi hangout, this is your place.

If you like warm sushi, cold rice with frozen vegetables, and diluted pepsi out of a wine decanter, this is your place. The soup bland, salad dressing just a bit "off". Definitely not a go-to for sushi. You're better off getting sushi at the grocery store.

This was literally the WORST sushi restaurant I have ever been to. There was not ONE redeeming quality about the place. The food was unacceptable, both my girlfriend and I felt ill afterwards, and are still not feeling great the following day. If the sushi had been free I would have felt I overpaid. If you enjoy terrible sushi with... More

Sushi Hama is a little place with a big selection of sushi and sashimi, and for lunch--perfect portions for the price. Try the "Lunch Box" which has a mix of sushi and tempura pieces. The sushi is very good, with it's own checklist-menu and pictures of the offerings on the special board up front and in the menu itself. I... More

There may be fancier sushi places in Tucson and there certainly are more expensive ones, but for our taste and budget, Sushi Hama is the spot we always go to. They know us there and we are always treated with friendly, prompt service. I love that as soon as we are seated the server places miso soup, a tiny salad,... More

We eat here often. Noel is a wonderful Sushi Chef. The Sushi is fresh and nice size portions. Always Friendly staff. I really like to set at the Sushi Bar. Great service! You should try it atlease once.

Sushi Hama used to be good, excellent in fact. Since they expanded their sushi is tired and dull.. They seem to be catering to the all you can eat crowd where the emphasis is on quantity and to hell with quality. If all you want is to fill your gullet with cheap, boring fish, this is a good place. If... More

After reading some of the negative reviews I was a littlte nervous eathing at Sushi Hama but I was pleasantly surprised. From the moment we were seated we had all the attention we wanted. Upon seating we were given soup, salad and edamame. We ordered iced tea which was always kept full. We had veggie tempura dinner. The dip was... More

The service and quality have been steadily degrading in recent year or so, not that it had been great to begin with when I first visited 4 years ago. We visit pretty frequently, for one my wife loves sushi, for another there are not many choices around, 3 reasonably close. The staff in general is cold and if that is... More

My friend (a Sushi Hama regular) took me here, and I had high expectations. We sat at the sushi bar and ordered the all-you-can-eat sushi. It says you can order 5 rolls at a time, which we each did (she ordered the sashimi, I ordered the ROLLS). After a full hour, she was done with the sashimi but I had... More
