When I was in high school, we would pop by Lucky Wishbone for a snack. That was fifty years ago. Still popping by!

This place serves steak fingers that Tucson-ites have been eating for years. Sit at a 4th grade desk they use for tables and enjoy. If you are even IN Tucson for whatever reason I don't need to excuse the place. Fits right in. They don't call it Lucky for nothin either.

Family-owned restaurant in Tucson since the year of the flood! Great comfort food. Try the steak fingers..yummy! They also have fried livers and gizzards...where do you see that? They may have become a little pricey ( since I was in high school) but worth the experience!

Best fried chicken fast food restaurant I've ever gone to. We take friends and family there for lunch when shopping etc.

For fried chicken the Wishbone cannot be beat. Always the same, no surprises. They also offer coleslaw and potato salad and shrimp. Best for takeout.

Every visit to Tucson includes at least 1 or 2 visits to Lucky Wishbone. I order my favorites - chicken livers, chicken gizzards, steak fingers, and garlic bread. I love the new building at the Swan Road location in Tucson. I used to go to that location when I was a teen. It was our neighborhood boy/girl meeting/flirting spot. The... More

I have tried this place a couple of times and was always surprised that all you get is cocktail sauce, no matter what you order. It was a quite greasy and the steak fingers were gross.

Apparently a Tucson chain, I went to the one on Campbell and Grant Rds. I was interested in description of a fast food Southern cooking locale. It did have gizzards and livers, but I had a shrimp combo with cole slaw, toast and a black cherry punch, which the nice staff talked me into. It was just like I expected.... More
