Great barbecue, great atmosphere

This restaurant has been through some ownership changes, name changes, and menu changes since Webb's Steakhouse closed its doors, and this incarnation might be the best of them all. Now called Gary Ray's Texas Barbecue, they specialize in their strength, which is excellent barbecue. We have tried the brisket, the ribs, and the smoked chicken, and all were excellent. Great... We have been looking for a happy hour close by. The website did not have a happy hour listed but we went anyhow just in case. Well, no happy hour but we enjoyed a glass of red wine for $5.00. That goes for most happy hour prices at other places. We had nachos and salsa for $4.00. The salsa was... More

We had a nice dinner here, but it was not what we would consider outstanding. The service and portions were very good. The pulled pork a bit dry, but they provided extra sauce. The music was very enjoyable, we could hear it but it did not impose on conversations. The setting is sort of faux cowboy and faux redneck. The... More

WHAT A SUPRISE!!! Hubby and I decided to go on a motorcycle ride and came across this little restaurant. We didn't expect much even went through the door and asked the hostess if they were open for dinner. The place was semi empty so we were hesitant. They had Prime Rib for special but we just shared the Smokehouse Sampler... More

My husband and I love coming to this restaurant. After the El Tour de Tucson bike race, he and fellow Rotarian Tom wanted good food to eat, so we ended up at The Settlement! :) The food is always good, and the bartender makes the BEST Margaritas around! We also enjoy the live music they have on Fridays, and always... More

A good place to eat near Saguaro National Park. The homemade chips are outstanding and the food was very good as was the service. You won't be disappointed.

We've been here three times in the last month for the entertainment. The food is good and the drinks are tasty, but when we have one specific server, we have to wait ...and wait ... and wait. I don't know that we will continue to eat here but we'll still come out for the entertainment and drinks. The atmosphere on... More

The Settlement was really good. I've been here several time in years back, and it's still really good. The food is delicious, and the portions are generous. The service is really good as well. Lindsay was out server and did a great job. She made sure everything was right , and that we had plenty to drink. I'd highly recommend... More

Recently ate here for my birthday and had a great meal. Extremely diverse menu along with their well-known steaks and the sides are excellent. Highly recommend the BBQ chicken, Carolina pulled pork, salmon, mac & cheese and all of the sides. Everything is very fresh and the ambience is local with awesome outdoor views of the Rincon Mountains. Goin back... More
