Excellent for a "fast" food

This place costs a little more than its competitors, but it is worth it in quality. I got the steak and cheese sub with mushrooms. There was no shortage of any of those ingredients, unlike when I order a chicken sub at some places and wonder where the chicken is. Delicious!! I tried their Cherry... read more

The New York Steamer (Corn Beef/Pastrami) Sub was the worst sub I ever had. It has so little meat it's was shocking. When I complained they basically said "Too bad for you". Will not return or recommend. Try Jason's Deli instead, 1000 percent better.. This is the Firehouse Subs on 880 w. valley pkwy, escondido, ca 92025 It's a franchise

From its firehouse themed decor featuring Dalmatian table tops and fire engine red chairs to clothing accents & helmets, a fun place for the family to go. Great fresh made to order subs and salads. They have a very friendly staff, willing to go the extra mile to make your dining experience a happy one. My dining partner had a... More

We stopped at this eatery twice as we are trying to eat healthy while on vacation. This fit the bill, we tried two different sandwiches and shared a salad each occasion. Every time we entered they were cleaning and maintaining a pristine dining area. We will keep this on our list when we visit.

Saw this 'fast' food sub shop around lunch time so we stopped in. They only have one meatless sub sandwich, but it is delicious. Cheese, grilled onions & mushrooms, lettuce & tomato all toasted. For just $2 more, we got the larger sandwich which was huge. A 10 napkin meal! Can't wait to return next time I am near by.... More

For a great sub, this is the place. Although this is a chain, originated in the Southeast, it tastes like a mom and pop sub shop. All the subs are hand made to order, so can't beat that. I'm kind of a meatball sub fanatic, and Firehouse's meatball subs are head and shoulders above everybody else. I've also tried the... More

This restaurant chain was founded by firemen and they serve delicious quality sandwiches for a fair price. The decor theme is firefighters. It is a very clean establishment. I found my new sandwich place!

02/25/13 We saw this restaurant on TV where they were interviewing the owners and how they got started. We thought it would be a very interesting and fun place to go. On the way to Tucson we spotted one alongside the highway so on our way back home to Yuma we pulled off to give it a try. I was... More
