Not as good as expected

I arrived on a late Friday afternoon about 5pm and the bar was full. I waited and then decided to take a two-seat table. The waiter was very attentive and helped explain some items on the menu. He suggested that if I ordered the lamb chops to order medium-rare, which I did. They arrived medium... read more

I went to here because jimmy johns had just closed, but I was hungry and this was located directly behind it. I sat at the bar and Jeff and James both greeted me. James gave me advice on what food to get and I followed his suggestion of the prime rib sandwich. It was absolutely delicious and inexpensive! I would... More

My wife and I went here on the advice of a local. It turned out to be a much fancier restaurant than we were looking for, but we stayed anyhow. We were glad we did. It was excellent. We had a Mexican soup with meatballs. Grilled romaine lettuce and a cheese stuffed chicken breast with garlic potatoes. Everything was excellent.

While I was looking for some place different to eat while in Tucson for work, I stumbled upon this place. Once in a while, I enjoy a cigar after dinner. Believe me, I don't want to offend anyone, so I look for places where it is permitted after all the diners are gone, usually later in the evening. This is... More

Went for Valentine's. Food as always was wonderful but service was awful. Asked for fresh ground pepper with my ceasar. Never came .ordered 16 Oz prime rib. Outstanding.Asked for fresh horse radish vs cream brought with dinner. Never came. Service was slow all night.First time disappointed with service.

We decided to go to Jonathan's Cork for Christmas Eve Dinner before going to church. We were greeted and seated promptly at our reservation time. The sever quickly took our drink orders and made us feel welcome. We told the server what time our service was and said we wanted to linger over drinks for a few minutes. The server... More

Jonathan's has a wide menu, from the traditional to the unusual (ostrich, buffalo, etc) with southwest favorites thrown in. On our previous trip, Jonathan prepared us a special Beef Wellington. This time, for our anniversary, we chose from the menu, and were not disappointed. Our appetizer (mushrooms, which were great by the way) was served by Jonathan himself. Our server... More

This place has the best steaks around. Good wine list. Tired 'old west' décor is almost camp but fun. Service can be a little slow at times but we relax with it, slow down, and enjoy ourselves. We visit here every time we are in Tucson.

Party of four new years eve dinning and celebration. Took my parents or for dinner and had the best service and food in Tucson. Prices are high but so is the food quality and service. Other tables were a bit loud but that's not the fault of this fine establishment.

My parents and I went here for dinner and had a good, but not great, experience. Based on the name of the restaurant, I expected an impressive wine list. But I was disappointed. Not a huge selection or variety. We ordered the famous sautéed mushrooms as an appetizer. They were okay but didn't have a lot of flavor. We ordered... More
