Have gone to Ric's a lot. It has been one of our favorite places to eat. Usually the food and service are good. We had friends visiting from out of state and took them there to dinner last night. I called early and asked for our favorite table by the mirror. When we got there we were taken to another... More

I've just read the reviews that are on TA and can't believe it. I think their must be new owners. I met them and talked to them. The service was impecable, we had our main waiter and at least two others checking on our table. We never asked for anything, anything we needed was there when we needed it. Water... More

One nice Sunday afternoon I took three friends (we're all women) to Ric's since we were in the area. Should have guessed right from the beginning. Outside was busy, inside almost empty, but it was a nice day. Wait staff zipped around, ignoring us. Finally, when a man came in, we were asked if we wanted to eat and where... More

We're snowbirds spending our 2nd winter in Tucson. We discovered Ric's Cafe last year and have had good experiences there. They have good appetizers (we like the coconut shrimp and lettuce wraps), the entrees are tasty and the side dishes fresh. A really cool thing they do, when you order a drink straight up, is leave the decanter on the... More

Recomended by locals, we forgot to ask them when was the last time they ate there! Service was poor, we had to ask for rolls. We waited 45 minutes for our food on a Tuesday night at 6 pm with all of about 15 people there! I had chicken marsala and had to scrape the chicken off the crust as... More

We had such high hopes, but tonight was a dud. I specifically asked if the pork tenderloin was heavy with spices or garlic, and I was assured it was not. True, the pork was not, but the waitress didn't think to mention the garlic mashed potatoes. Yuk. The soup was good, if peppery. The rolls finally arrived after a long... More

Sunday my friend Robin and I headed out with my pug Bunny and her terrier Samantha, we ended up for breakfast at Ric's on their outdoor patio. We were pleased to have a bowl of water brought for our dogs who were welcomed with great relish. I had a delicious omelette that was perfectly prepared, the waitress was a nice,... More
