The current generation of family owners of this once stellar restaurant should be ashamed at the low level of food quality and cleaniness they have let this place deteriorate to. Sorry, but after a 14-year hiatus, I found this place to be such a disappointment. We finally got back to Tucson and couldn't wait to visit here for, what had... More

I come here as often as I can for great Mexican food. I always have it before me within 5 minutes of ordering. And it is really good. I enjoy the red chili and the vegetable platter. Chips and salsa are okay. Michas margarita is huge!

First time here, had a friend visit from out of town, wanted to take him for some good Mexican food. We were going to Mi Nidito, on 29th & 4th, but it is closed on Tuesdays, so my wife told me to go to Michael, which is about 8 blocks south on 4th. Loved the home like atmosphere, simple, neat,... Nail Banger Here Again; My wife and I years ago used to come here all the time and they would run coupons that made the trip down to that side of town worth while. We would get the Machaca Chimichangas almost every time they were so good. We decided to stray from that this time and my wife got the... More

I have been here a few times when visiting my in-laws in Tucson. They are regulars here. I have left satisfied every time I have gone here. They have great salsa and great traditional dishes. My wife and father in-law love the menudo there (order the small unless you are an insanely big eater). This last time there I ordered... More

Located on S. 4th Avenue in S. Tucson across the street from the dog track. Good parking. Unpretentious family run Mexican restaurant. I ate there last Saturday with a few friends after not having eaten there in the >15 years since I left Tucson. Thin, crispy corn chips, with two salsa, one hot, one mild. All 4 of us had... More

Breakfast at Micha's is a family tradition when we are in the Tucson area. This trip all five of us ordered something different from the standard American bacon-and-eggs to the Mexican-influenced machaca. The pancakes were called "outstanding" but the machaca was bland and the meat had an unusual spicing, and the bacon and eggs were "fine." Since we've been there... More

What a great find! The albondigas soup was incredible. Took me back to my mother-in-law's kitchen. I had the Topopo salad. It was excellent and huge. This place is worth the trip!

For breakfast the chorizo and eggs and the best. Very mild and smooth. Dinner is great. They make their tacos with patties instead of loose meat. Excellent restaurant. We have been going there for over 30 years.

Micha's does what it does well, putting out south Tucson Mexican food that is delicious, fast to the table, and reasonably priced. I asked if I could have a combo plate of one red beef tamale and one green corn tamale even though it wasn't on the menu, and it was no problem. Partner on low-carb diet really enjoyed his... More
