Haven't been in 15 years! No reason other than used to eating and leaving in an hour. This is slow, relaxing dining with friends or romantic partner. Not that the service is slow, it's terrific and very attentive. They just don't rush you and the dark atmosphere lends itself to relaxation. Food excellent! Consider the split plate for $6, there's... More

I haven't been to Bazil's (the restaurant) for quite a while. We live nearby but felt it was getting "old". Boy were we surprised when we walked in the other night! The bar area is completely refreshed with additional tables and booths. We ate in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The Chicken Francaise was tender and flavorful. My... More

Lived here for a few years now and this is by far the best pie in Tucson. Being from Chicago I know good pizza when I eat it.

Bazil's To Go is definitely our "go to" for pizza in Tucson. The sauce, combined with a great crust makes whatever ingredients you choose the perfect combination. It is a bit more expensive, but to us, worth the extra. Always enjoy giving(and getting) a hard time to Max. I do carry out so I can sneak a jolly rancher and... More

Loved that it isn't a chain (yes, we were happy when Pizza Hut/Burger king left but not to be replaced by ANOTHER walgreen's)! but once we had their pizza we were hooked! LOVE it:) plan ahead and call with order before kids get hungry! :) It is worth the wait, we promise.

Took our in-laws, who live in Tuscon, here as a thank you for showing us around. It is one of their favorite places to go, and I can see why. Most of the meals are around $20, and you get a delicious antipasto salad, cup of soup, and a nice serving of your chosen entree. Everyone got something different and... More

This review is for the restaurant - Bazil's - not the "to go" section. We moved away from Tucson almost twenty years ago. At the time, Bazil's was one of our favorite restaurants. Recently, while visiting in Tucson, we had the opportunity to have dinner at Bazil's once again after at least fifteen years. Bazil's was and is a GREAT... More

My friends took me here... said they always enjoy the veal dishes. I ordered their Veal Francais - it was DELICIOUS! Squeezed the lemon over it. Great, flavorful sauce! Meals come with bread, antipasta salad & a choice of 1 side. Enjoyed a delightful glass of Sicilian red wine. Too full for dessert. A fun, relaxing evening!

This is an Italian restaurant straight out of the 1950s. You get a ton of food. Dinner comes with an antipasto & soup. Most entrees come with side dishes, of which the cottage fries were a standout.. The soup was just okay, the antipasto fresh. Our entrees good, but a bit on the heavy side. And we didn’t order Alfredo... More

We ordered a small Bazil's Special Pizza and Lasagna. Both were so incredibly good that we could not believe It. We met one of the family members while we were ordering and he suggested to make sure and try the pizza.........We will definitely return to what he called the " Big House ", their regular Restaurant. A side note :... More
