Best Indian in town

The New Delhi Palace, Cuisine of India, is my favorite Indian restaurant in town. It is located in a strip mall on Broadway between a Walgreen's and a boot store. The interior walls are painted with scenes from India. The service is generally friendly and helpful; they are happy to make suggestions... read more

Ate at New Delhi Palace for the first time last night. Had Chicken Fraizee (chicken, onions, peppers in a tomato sauce) with rice & bread. Ordered it "medium" spicy. Didn't seem too spicy at first, but grew in intensity as meal progressed. It was good as was the mango mint iced tea. Had the Mulligtawny Soup for an appetizer &... More

The waiter asked me how spicy I wanted my vindaloo and I wanted the max. I am barely feeling it as I munch on the chicken and have to laugh. They probably thought this tiny girl couldn't handle it but I'm also the same girl who eats the highest hot at BWW and ate "tear you up and make you... More

I was so excited with all those reviews on the Google, but after my experience on last Sunday I only have one word to describe it - HORRIBLE! I ordered two Lamb Biryanis' and they were pathetic. I'm an Indian, I have been eating Biryanis all my life and I tell you this one was the worst. I could easily... More

After reading the many favorable reviews, I decided to satisfy my hunger for Indian food by visiting this restaurant. When I came in I was behind another couple waiting. We waited for at least 10 minutes without being greeted or asked how many were in our party -- totally ignored by the wait staff. There were several empty tables in... More

Companion & I visit this ethnic paradise each time we visit Tucson. An aroma of Indian Spices fills the air as you enter this spotless restaurant. Prompt service delivers your choices in a friendly manner. Vegetable samosas & pakoras are crisp and slightly spiced starters. Most entrees are available with your choice of chicken, shrimp or lamb. Companions Chicken Tikka... More

We have eaten at this restaurant a few times but is had been awhile. It is far from our side of town but my husband really felt like Indian Food. We shared the Jalapeno appetizer and it was delicious. Got a little hot the more I ate but yummy and I would try it again. We then shared the Mix... More

It's always fun to pick different dishes and share them with friends or family at this restaurant. We've never been disappointed with our selections and the waitstaff is very helpful in that regard. They always remember to ask just how spicy you want your food. The nann was so good that we ordered seconds and their lassi drinks are made... More

I'm really happy with the food at this place. Tucson can lack culture and we have tried other Indian Food in the area with horrible results. I'm pleased to report this place is fantastic. The flavor was great and fed that craving for heat and flavor.
