This is one restaurant I do not miss whenever I am in Tucson. They have the best cheese crisp anywhere. Often I try to hit this restaurant a least twice when I am in town

We went to El Minuto's because I like their refried beans. The food was very good and the service is top-notch. There is inside and outside seating and the outside seating is great because it's completely covered.

Reminiscent of what Tucson was like 50 years ago with a quaint family Mexican cafe. Colorful interior, friendly family service, and good Mexican food. Worth the visit to have a taste of Classic Tucson and the barrio historico. Easy parking, large servings, and good food.

Nestled out of the way on the edge of a quiet neighborhood. The restaurant is bright and smells inviting. Service was quick and the food was pretty good. We had a cheese crisp the size of a large pizza with lots of cheese and two bowls of soup: menudo and albondigas. So, I can't speak for their tacos or enchiladas... More

Stopped in at the El Minuto Café in Tucson for some Mexican takeout. Choose from the Combination Plates, ordered an El Minuto Special and a Chili Rellenos. Both were delicious and portions are large. Waiters were friendly and efficient. Prices are a little high, but food and atmosphere are wonderful.

The El Minuto has terrific Mexican food, and such a variety! They catered to our rather large group, and assigned us our own wait staff. Orders were promptly taken, drinks delivered, and food served rather quickly. The wait staff was very attentive and the food delicious! I will return here!

A trip to the Tucson Convention Center starts with lunch on Day 1 at El Minuto just across the street. Enchiladas with one fried egg and guacomole reboots the system -- now you know you're in Tucson.

We were given this restaurant as a recommendation for good Mexican food in Tucson. The food was absolutely outstanding. The one drawback is that they are a little pricey.

I tried this place because the machaca was recommended to me. Although I did enjoy it, I wasn't blown away. But maybe machaca isn't my thing. Everything else about the visit was great. Very friendly service and traditional ambiance.
