went with a gaggle of friends. all pleased with the food and liked the western style ambience.

the ambience was western-style and lots of tables and dining areas. we all settled on steak or ribs and no one was disappointed. easy to drive to from the west part of Tucson. it will be the closest "go to" for us if beef is the food of choice.

This steakhouse has a very unique "look". $1 bills are attached to all of the walls & ceiling. It has picnic style tables outside & a fairly large dining room and bar/lounge inside. We were a party of five with a 7:45 pm reservation. We were seated promptly & ordered two appetizers and drinks. The chips & salsa was delivered... More

All the meat served is fantastic. The filet is wonderful, best I have ever eaten. I gave the rating a three because everything else served is very average. The salad is open the bag ,you have a salad. The baked potatoes are nuked. Don't ask for vegetables other than a salad, they don't serve them. Way over priced for a... More

Thanks Daisy Mae. I’d started to think I’d never find ‘fall off the bone’ ribs in a restaurant as good as I make at home. But you’re right up there. Yummy. As for the décor: sure it’s down market. But so what? Pretend you’re eating from a chuck wagon in the Sonoran desert in 1880 and, howling in the distance,... More

First time back to Tucson since 2011 and the first thing we did was hit our favorite restaurant! Yum,yum, yum.Filet was cooked perfectly with great flavor and the ribs still fell off the bone. Service was very attentive and the chocolate mousse was to die for. That was the dessert recommendation from our server. Daisy Mae`s hasn`t lost a step... More

Daisy Mae's is a tradition for us as a wrapup for the International Gem and Mineral show. The steaks are the best. The baked potato accompaniment was excellent also. Unfortunately the house salads were not tossed, but, thrown together with iceburg butts and chunks. The service was just sad. The waitresss was not happy to be serving us and it... More

Ate twice here during rhe Tucson Gem & Mineral show last week. The food rates at least four stars but the service was lame. This restaurant is very popular with the locals in spite of the service and is always crowded. I recommend having reservations if you dine here. Will I eatbhere next year during the show????? YES, the food... More

Visited Feb 5th 2015 While the ribs were decent, the service was deplorable! Our waitress was forgetful, and very unattentive. No refills, no how are things, no can I get you something else. I am thankful for the girl that was NOT our waitress as she could tell we were getting upset and had not been serviced for some time.... More

I recently dined at Daisy Mae's with some colleagues. I tried the 14oz Ribeye while others had the Baby Back Ribs. Everything was delicious and the portions were huge. This place is no frills, but the food and service are fantastic. Also, very reasonable prices for the quality and quantity you get.

On Friday, January 23 our party of seven celebrated a family birthday. This will be a short review because this restaurant does not deserve much time in terms of writing a review. Ribs were dry, BBQ sauce has too much vinegar, fillet was tough. The baked potatoes were good as were the beans but this is a steak house so... More
