Based on the looks of the restaurant we didn't know what to expect. Everyone suggested we went there but we were a little skeptical. After we got our meal all suspicions were gone. The meal was fantastic and the price was even better. We had enough food for dinner and lunch the next day.

It's a dive - but one with very good BBQ. The salads always have me shaking my head - little portions in a plastic bowl, but hey - that adds to the divey part. And I doubt anyone goes there for the salad. The BBQ is simply great. The mesquite goes on in the early afternoon and the smell is... More

We went here on a recommendation from friends in Tucson. The steaks were good and cooked like we asked for them. No problem there. The rest of the meal was pretty average though. The small salad seemed like it came straight from a bag, one slice of red onion,no tomato or croutons. Smallish baked potato with margarine, sour cream and... More

Actually a bit of a dive, but the steaks and ribs are perfectly cooked over a mesquite fire. Prices are excellent for the amount and quality of the entrees. The staff is friendly and right there with your drinks and dinners.

Absolutely a great casual place to have a fantastic dinner and enjoy a wide variety of craft, domestic and local beers! This shabby shic country bar and grill is a Tucson Landmark! Dine inside or on the expansive patio, either way you are sure to get fantastic service, a rib eye you can cut with a butter knife, and fall... More

As always....great food, friendly staff, great atmosphere, and outstanding steaks. I am happy to have been able to take my Dad there for his birthday and an early Father's Day treat! Looking forward to going back again some time soon!

Some of the reviews cll this place rustic, but in fact it is run down. We went to eat but based upon the condition and the prices, we decided to have a couple of drinks and move on. We did mark up a few dollar bills and tack them to the ceiling which was entertaining, and they did have a... More

I went with a large group and from what I could tell none of the food was anywhere near top quality or worth the price charged. I had ribs and it was obvious they had been prepared earlier and warmed up in a microwave. They were tasteless and the sauce was sweet and heavy like it came from a bottle.... More

Daisy Mae's is rustic and not fancy like other reviews have said. BUT the food is excellent! I enjoyed some delicious ribs. Others indulged in Filet mignon. They claimed the filet was "outstanding." The place is unique in the fact that it has dollar bills all over the walls from floor to ceiling. Go casual for sure but go the... More

The steaks were really good. The sides were okay. The rustic room with dollar bills stapled to the walls was a bit of kitsch.
