We had good food... Sat at the sushi counter and had exceptional service from our sushi chef who was very attentive and talkative. My issue was with the timing of service- we ordered a child's meal right away after sitting down (chicken) and then drinks for the adults and the adult's food (sushi rolls). Unfortunately, the food for the adults... More

Just dropped in without reading any reviews ahead of time. The lunch buffet was an excellent deal. Lots of fish, Korean dishes and about 1/2 dozen kinds of sushi all for 9.95

I have been coming here for over 14 years and they have always served fresh fish, perfectly cooked rice and the wait staff refills drinks before they go empty. Each of the sushi chef's have their own style and creations which makes dining here an experience. The all-you-can-eat in addition to the amazing happy hour will keep me coming back... More

If you can, definitely check this place out on a Thursday night, when they have karaoke and happy hour prices. I spent about $10 on what would have been at least $17-$20 regular price, on a few different appetizers, nigiri sushi and beer. The service was good, and the food itself was very good. The fish in my sushi tasted... More

This is actually my third strikeout for sushi in the area - surprisingly, as with Takamatsu, all recent reviews had a solid vibe, spacious, clean, and pleasant, but all also had only mediocre sushi. My standards are high, yes, but I do not want all-you-can-eat sushi to taste like all-you-can-eat sushi ... in that sense that I want high quality... More

This restaurant has some of the best Korean food in the southwest. There are a limited number of Korean restaurants to begin with, so we are very happy that Tak is so good. We've been there several times when visiting Tucson and the food is always excellent. Also great service by very attractive waitresses.

Don't let any one tell you to go anywhere else. This lunch Buffet is excellent!...You know it's good when you see many Asians eating there on a regular basis. Not real fancy, but just great tasting food and sushi. They also have a Sushi bar, and Korean BBQ. Great restaurant!!

I have not been to Takamatsu since before the fire years ago, but I remember that experience, which was dinner, as outstanding. This time I tried the lunch buffet. It is a disaster. Food that is supposed to be cold is stone cold. Food that is supposed to be hot is at best room temperature. So-called tempura items have frozen... More

tried the buffet that included sushi (very limited) few Japanese and many Korean dishes. Great flavors and full descriptions of what your eating (very helpful to those who have allergies or diet restrictions. Shredded beef (galbi or bulgogi?) had a great taste. Make your own soup concoction was delicious. You take a bowl add either fish stock or miso and... More

Food was great, but service need attention. This was the first visit since the rebuild and one would think it would be above par. Maybe I will try the happy hour some time and have a different experience.
