A Tribute to Lawrence Gibbicini!

Hand-made pizza pies with real Wisconsin cheese----a choice of thick or thin! Try the Pesto-combo, 18 inch! Pastas are fresh and with quality ingredients. Busy-busy-busy! But our highlight was, while waiting to be seated, there was a sitting area outside---and you could begin your evening by... read more

But our highlight was, while waiting to be seated, there was a sitting area outside---and you could begin your evening by having a pre-dinner glass of wine or beer! How very smart! I had never been to Oregano's before, but my sister and her family go here often when in Tucson. It was my birthday so four of us went there. We ordered the garlic bread with marinara sauce which comes as one huge piece of the best garlic bread I have ever tasted. We ordered a 16" Número Uno thin crust... More

I previously lived in Tucson but moved 4 years ago and to this day still get cravings for Oregano's. Thin crust pizza is the bomb - the crust is very thin but still somehow has incredible flavor, whereas most thin crust pizzas taste cardboard-y to me! Garlic bread with cheese is definitely an undertaking for an app but well worth... More

Went to Oregano's tonight with family and friends. The server, Satchel, was excellent and friendly. We all ordered something different and each dish was wonderful. I actually ordered the stuffed mushroom appetizer and they were so big (2) I could only eat one. We also had pizza, pasta, wings and dessert. Each dish was amazing....plus the garlic bread is amazing.... More

Our daughter and family love this restaurant Expect a long wait but totally worth it. I have ate a lot of pizza but this is by far the very best! Unique taste that makes you want more. And leave room for the chocolate cookie with ice cream. Our daughter & son-in-law and two grandchildren shared this ( fought over) And... More

Talk about great food. Wow. Our party of six had to wait outside on the shaded patio for seating, only 10 mins , tops. Our waitress was lively, competent and genuine. I had the fire wings. They don't come in a traditional buffalo sauce. This was a house made, hot chili sauce. And it was very hot, yet packed with... More

I spent eleven years at the University of Illinois campus in Urbana/Champaign, the pan pizza capital of the world. Oregano's Pan Pizza is the very best I have had since leaving the University of Illinois. Be prepared to wait a while for this treat to be prepared, but it is absolutely worth the wait. My wife and I got three... More

We were craving Italian food and this restaurant was recommended as being, "GREAT" by at least four local residents so we gave it a try. Called for reservations, but they do not accept. We arrived at 7PM on a Friday evening and it was very crowded, folks sitting outside the restaurant and there was a 40 minute wait. This was... More

Well--we visited Oreganos tonight thinking that it had always been a "go to" place for us. Not this evening! To start we ordered the Kick Butt Garlic Bread with cheese. There was absolutely no garlic flavor at all. The Big Beefstro Salad was lacking cilantro, tomatoes and if there was any cheese on it I could not find it. The... More

We decided to order a pizza to go for our last evening in Tucson. This ended up being a very pleasant surprise and it was perfect that we could order and pick it up at their designated time. We did have to wait 45 mins for the pizza to be ready but they let us know when we ordered so... More
