But I was not....the biggest issue was that although the menu was small the waitress did not even tell me that a Ribeye was on for that evening..???? We only noticed when another couple was offered one. The salad bar was disappointing. But the steak I got was not the Ribeye I came for...When mentioning this to the waitress she... More

My family and I have been coming here a countless amount of times for many years! What's great about this restaurant is, the food/service has always been exceptional throughout all these years, nothing changes. Its nice when you have somewhere you can go eat and know what to expect. You don't have to worry about your steak being over cooked... More

Salad bar was full of fresh ingredients. Ribs were lean and well cooked. Steak was prepared as ordered. We were told that the restaurant is owned by a ranch that supplies all the beef. If that is what made it so good, then more folks should follow this model. Be aware that a side of soup is a bowl, not... More

The menu selection is not large. They grill over mesquite wood, so the flavor is just outstanding. Anything grilled steaks and ribs were wonderful. I had the fried mushrooms as a appetizer and they were good as well.

had a mouthwatering "seared" prime-rib, every bite of the meat would melt in my mouth,w\ a jus,a couple cold beers, nice\friendly staff, salad bar, baked potato, cowboy beans, it was one great meal, tucked in frontage road along I-10 near 6th ave, steaks are cooked in front of you, nice looking rustic\mesquite cooking grill.

Before we moved to tucson, I asked a resident where the locals went for a steak. This was his recomendation. My wife and I have eaten there several times and have taken visitors there also. Never had a disappointment. I usually have the combo because I can not decide. Food is always good, beer is cold and the salad bar is... More

Staying by the airport presented w/ few dining choices and so the hotel clerk recommended Silver Saddle. Located on the side of an access road the place looks like its been there forever, in reality it opened in the 1980s. Their claim to fame is the Mesquite cooking. We all ordered beef in one form or another and although the... More

This is a great steakhouse! Good steaks, very reasonable prices, clean, friendly staff, and apparently very popular with the locals. We stopped here for a late lunch. Oh, and the martini and margarita were great also!

We've lived in Tucson almost 35 years which must be at least as long as this restaurant has been around. Tonight was the first time we ate there. The place certainly looks its age and would never be mistaken for one of the glitzier steakhouses but it does have its own sense of authenticity. It feels like a place where... More

We love this place. The food and service are always great. It can get crowded, which should tell you something. It has been around for a long time and keeps on going.
