Awesome Mexican

This place serves the most delicious food. It is very popular and always crowded. We had to wait about 30 minutes to get a table. It was well worth the wait. My chimichanga was perfect, I loved it. I could eat here over and over.

One of the local Tucson residents recommended this restaurant. We arrived by 5:30 pm and were told that we had a wait time of 30 minutes. We actually were seated in about 15 minutes. The food is very good and the decor is very interesting. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

this place is an original…. the Barria is spiced perfectly and the rellanos made with plump, meaty chilies. This is a must stop on the tour of best Mexican in the United States.

Located at 1813 South 4th Avenue in Tucson, AZ is the Mi Nidito Restaurant. Mi Nidito offers absolutely superb, authentic Mexican cuisine. There may be a short wait for seating, but I can assure you that it is well worth the wait. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is excellent. Mi Nidito have been visited by a number... Came back here again after about a 10 year absence. We were delighted to see that the food is still hot and delicious, and the beer and margaritas still ice cold. Service was fast and efficient. Lots of menu choices, but not as overwhelming as some other Mexican restaurants. Authentic Mexican food. This was perhaps our 5th visit over a... More

Recommended by the locals. Traveling from Portland and was looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant. Although it took over an hour to be seated, the service was fast, and the food was spectacular!

We came here based on a recommendation from our hotel staff. Wait was long for 6 people but we had some drinks to hold us over. Service was excellent and not rushed and my birria shredded beef chimichanga was delicious!

We read all the reviews about long waits, but we figured we'd tough it out if the food was worthwhile. Well, after a 1h 20min wait on a Sunday afternoon, we finally got inside. I had the chile colorado and my wife had an enchilada combo plate. The food itself was fine, but nothing was outstanding. Certainly not as good... More

We arrived at 12:00 and expected a long line from the reviews but we were seated within about :15 minutes. Ordered the President's Plate and it was incredible. The Chile Relleno was over the top and the Shredded Beef Taco where my favorites on the dish. Highly Highly recommend.

We chose this restaurant as it was recommended to us by two different friends. Had about a 45 minute wait late on a Thursday evening. Great food and service. I would eat here again.
