Good mexican food in a strip mall

Large menu, all the basics. This place was really busy on a Friday. They were very quick with our drinks. The food was very good except for the scoop of cottage cheese(!) on my topopo salad. I know that's what the menu said, but I thought it was a typo for cotijo cheese.

Rosa's was recommended to us as one of the best Mexican restaurants in Tucson. It was good, not great. The enchilada sauce was very average as well as the rice and beans. The meat was tender and good. Service and atmosphere excellent.

We chose Rosa's after reading reviews on Tripadvisor and other sites, so we went in expecting something tasty and authentic. The decor was fine, festive and relaxed. We were seated immediately and served chips and a great salsa so we thought we were off to a great start. Boy were we wrong! I ordered the chicken topopo salad, husband had... More

We ate at Rosa's based upon a review we found on the Internet. We were amazed at how good the food was, especially the salsa! We ordered a cheese crisp with chilies as an appetizer which was enough to feed three! We then had George's special, which included the to die for chicken enchiladas!! My daughter had a cheese quesadilla... More

Last night my Husband and adult son drove down to Rosas. We were in the mood for original Mexican food. My sons favorite is called Gary's Plate...,I had Rosas plate. 6 very cold beers and 3 plates of authentico food. $76. Before tip. The cheese crisps are great. Love the roses on the chairs. Jesus you are making Mama proud

Don't know Rosa's slipped out of my "go to" places, but I rediscovered it this week and so glad that I did. The location is unassuming, the decor is unassuming ... everything about this place is unassuming ... but it is good, it is predictable and the menu is large. Everyone can find something they like. My husband and I... More

Rosa's was recommended to us by a friend in NJ and it didn't disappoint. The food was good and prices competitive. The tables were filled with local clients, not tourists and everyone was having a good time.

On a recent trip, I had a beef chimichanga (enchilada style) that was outstanding. Good atmosphere, busy.

Shredded beef has never been my favorite, but Rosa's are delicious. Loved the salsa, too. I must have chili relleno's and these were very good. I like fresh peppers better. Hubby had a beef Chimi that was choke full of tasty beef, friend had shrimp fajitas and was very pleased. Busy, busy place....lots of locals and that's a good sign.... More

It was a bit hard to find, but well worth it. The chips and salsa were great - we had to keep asking for more… and they brought it to us!! No waiting and the staff was very accommodating. I would go there again.
