Rosa’s was recommended to us by a fellow traveler we met while in the Oro Valley. He said that we should give Rosa’s a try if we liked Mexican food. Well, we do – and we did – and what a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed the décor while sipping an excellent margarita, then enjoyed a dinner of some of the... More

We've been to Rosa's a few times and this is the first review. When compared to Mexican Food around the country, Rosa's would be considered pretty good. Frequent visitors or residents of Tucson may have a little different opinion since there are a lot of good places in the area. I can say that I like Rosa's. The menu has... More

My son and grandson and I went to Rosas while they were visiting in Tucson. They ate at Rosas frequently when they lived in Tucson before they moved to Georgia. My son was looking forward to eating great Mexican food which is not available in Georgia. He and I were horribly disappointed. The food was poorly prepared and fictitious! I... More

We had a late lunch at Rosa's. The chips & salsa were excellent, but the guacamole was bland and almost runny ... a very processed taste & consistency. We had three soft chicken tacos that were good, and the #5 combo with a beef taco, beef tamale, cheese enchilada & refried beans and rice that was excellent --- very tasty!... More

This has been a favorite of my family for many years. The food is consistently good. There is sometimes a bit of a wait to get in but we have always had a good meal there. It may not be the best Mexican restaurant but it has been a local favorite for many years. My family has always enjoyed having... More

Tried this location near our hotel because it had been in business since the 1970's. The selections were good and reasonable prices. Our choices were not too spicy and appealed to our tastes. Wait staff were attentive.

I felt like the food is adjusted to meet the taste of the tourists and was not authentic. Prices are too high for the area but service was descent.

The service is prompt and friendly. The carne asada tacos were fresh and super favorable. My friend ordered the carne seca chimichanga which was delicious. The beans and rice ($4.00) extra charge fell flat! The beans are runny and did not taste fresh, and the rice was well overcooked and lacked flavor. The margaritas were superb! In short... Go eat... We always stop in at Rosa's when in Tucson. This is perhaps the best meal we had there. Possible because of the time (4:00 p.m.). Our waiter was friendly and made some good suggestions. My tamales were the best ever/

Just been to this wonderful Mexican restaurant visiting from Scotland. The chicken tacos were to die for as was the virgin strawberry margarita! Fabulous, friendly staff!
