My family was on vacation and got a tip from a local regarding this restaurant. The service was terrific, and the food fabulous. Large portions and so flavorful! Highly recommended.

Visiting family in the area and noted several good reviews about Rosa's Mexican Food so we stopped by. Quick and attentive service, very reasonable prices but "average" food which seemed to be a lot of processed rather than homemade. Will praise their salsa though.

Tucson people feel they know a lot about great Mexican food. Rosa's is a favorite if you are near mid-town or North. The margaritas stand out, the guacamole is super, and the servings are both tasty and large. Enjoy.

I have been a patron at Rosa's since 1994 and they are one of the very best Mexican restaurants in Tucson. They are consistent- you can bet on quality every time and they have the BEST salsa, in my opinion in all of Tucson- but it is hot. Rosa's is a down home family restaurant. There is " Mexican food"... More

My husband and I had lunch at Rosa’s in June of this year, after a morning spent at Catalina State Park. Rosa's was recommended by staff at our hotel, and they did not steer us wrong! When we arrived we probably looked like we had just been out hiking in the park all morning, but the hostess was welcoming and... More

Rosa’s was recommended to us by a fellow traveler we met while in the Oro Valley. He said that we should give Rosa’s a try if we liked Mexican food. Well, we do – and we did – and what a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed the décor while sipping an excellent margarita, then enjoyed a dinner of some of the... More

We've been to Rosa's a few times and this is the first review. When compared to Mexican Food around the country, Rosa's would be considered pretty good. Frequent visitors or residents of Tucson may have a little different opinion since there are a lot of good places in the area. I can say that I like Rosa's. The menu has... More

My son and grandson and I went to Rosas while they were visiting in Tucson. They ate at Rosas frequently when they lived in Tucson before they moved to Georgia. My son was looking forward to eating great Mexican food which is not available in Georgia. He and I were horribly disappointed. The food was poorly prepared and fictitious! I... More

We had a late lunch at Rosa's. The chips & salsa were excellent, but the guacamole was bland and almost runny ... a very processed taste & consistency. We had three soft chicken tacos that were good, and the #5 combo with a beef taco, beef tamale, cheese enchilada & refried beans and rice that was excellent --- very tasty!... More
