Thank goodness for Trip Advisor, as my fellow evaluators have done it again! This place has many good reviews for a reason. We enjoyed a dinner alongside two large groups, which was a bit loud, and it got louder when the fabulous mariachis began to play...and it was fantastic. It was a situation that allowed for talking at your table... More

The atmosphere is great, the food is better and periodically the entertainment (Mariachi) is super. I always have visitors that want to try or like Mexican cuisine go to La Fuente and NO ONE ever was disappointed going there.

This is an excellent example of southwestern dining in Tucson. It's large and generally you can quickly get seated. I like the ambiance and the food is very good.

We were looking for authentic Mexican food in Tucson and a relative recommend this place. The food was terrific! The salsa was different from any other Mexican place we had eaten and it was yummy! The guacamole was smooth and delicious! The meals were hot and delicious! Our server was very nice, too! The restaurant was beautifully decorated, as well!

This beautiful, spacious restaurant features great food with a Mariachi band on weekends. The food is classic Mexican fare. There is always a big crowd, but lots of seating. Safe area with security. Highly recommend.

Stopped here for a very early dinner around 3:30pm. Place was empty besides maybe 3-5 other tables. Waiter was very nice and very prompt. Enjoyed our food, guacamole was the best part. Place was huge inside.

Stopped by on our way home from Tucson after looking at reviews from others. The food was pretty good, and service was fast and friendly. Perfect for a casual dinner...

La Fuentes has a long history in Tucson. It serves an outstanding lunch buffet with a variety of authentic Mexican dishes to choose from. The restaurant is bright with plants, flowers, and Saltillo tile. In the evening, La Fuente entertains you with a strolling Mariachi band. The food and atmosphere bring you the best of old Mexico. I did not... More

Go to La Fuente if you like crowds and standard Mexican fare, and you don't mind noise. The music can be good, but is often drowned out by poor acoustics. I leave filled but fleeing the noise.

We had a surprise 29 percent tip added to our bill. For two people?! Come on, that's not fair. We won't go back.
