Unfortunately this restaurant closed in 2014 after 50 years in business. The food was good and they regularly had free mariachi entertainment. Too bad!

This restaurant, which was a Tucson staple, has closed. The Tucson Star recently ran a detailed story on the closing and history of La Fuente.

Food, service, and atmosphere are all excellent. Only negative I give it is location. Not in best part of town and a little hard to get to.

We chose here to celebrate a birthday and we were not disappointed. It's an older establishment rich in culture and heritage. Food is good and proved reasonable . Dinner for 6 with a pitcher of margaritas was 135.00. We went during the week , only a handful of diners so service was excellent.

One of the best Mexican Dinners since we have been in AZ. Alphonso is a great host and made us feel good about choosing that particular restaurant. We will definitely eat there again.

We were looking to try Mexican food and we lucked out when we went to La Fuente. The service was good and the food excellent. The one man Mariachi Band was excellent as well. This gave you the feel of being in Mexico enjoying what they have to offer. We were not rushed; it was a very relaxing and enjoyable... More
