Great Breakfast!

We have been coming to Tucson for years and have passed Roberts many times. We always thought it was closed because we passed by after 2 PM. What a mistake. Roberts is for breakfast and lunch between 6AM and 2PM. Great home made breakfasts. Great homemade breads (try the jalapeño!). The cinnamon... read more

Our group of four wanted to try a good family restaurant for lunch and Robert's was rated high, so we stopped in. We were not disappointed. There were several specials listed on a chalkboard along with a nice variety of items on the menu. The items we tried included a Tuna-Stuffed Tomato, a Chicken Salad Stuffed Tomato, Chef salad and... We passed this place several times and always noticed a lot of cars in the parking lot so thought we would give it a try for breakfast. The waitresses are very friendly and there seem to be a lot of locals and repeat customers. Everything was prepared just fine and they brought out a nice homemade salsa when we asked... More

For $8.39 plus tax, I got a delicious corned beef and cabbage meal, including beverage and a homemade roll.

Well, I'm not sure if "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" has featured Robert's yet but they certainly should. I've wintered in Tucson for years and driven past countless times but I never got around to trying this place until the other day when friends were visiting. The restaurant is open from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm so breakfast or lunch only,... More

We had the cinnamon roll and a couple of breakfast dishes which I can't remember. The cinnamon roll was the best. We got the fried version but the plain one would be good too. The other dishes were good also.

I am the type of person who regrets eating at resturants because after I see the bill I think to myself, that was not worth this amount of money. Never at roberts! Friendly staff with amazing food! There cinnamon rolls are to die for! Make sure you ask for it toasted, it just melts in your mouth. You can also... More

Back in the seventies when Robert's was on Speedway the food was terrific and served up a good working person's meal in record time. So I tried it again after many years. What I got was overcooked vegetables, a horrible tasting meat loaf, sock juice coffee and spotty service. Roberts has gotten lazy and out of touch. Crappy coffee doesn't... More

Robert's is nothing fancy. It has a diner atmosphere, but the food and service is great, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Would highly recommend for breakfast. Great food, fast service and very pleasant servers.

We ate here the day after we ate at Bobo's. The food is great and the atmosphere is a little less frenetic. A great local place to eat.
