My girlfriend and I have celebrated our birthdays at Cafe Poca Cosa for years...the food is always tasty and the plates are visually beautiful, as well! The first thing we noticed was the drink menu given to each person right away and the wait staff was obviously instructed to push the drinks! The food is still good and the presentation... More

Nouveau Mexican. No menu, just entrees written on a blackboard, which change frequently. Food was extravagantly plated, but tasted just mediocre. I had Asada Mesquite. The beef tasted like stew beef and I didn't taste the mesquite at all. There are many places I will try first before coming back here.

No menus, I guess that's considered part of the charm but once the waiter has gone over it with you all you're left with is an unintelligible blackboard, and our waiter seemed annoyed when we had questions. No appetizers, so the chance of having a small meal is impossible. The drinks were so watery I'm not even sure there was... More

The food and atmosphere was incredible! The dishes were so beautiful and delicious! The colors and flavors on the plate really impressed us all! If you have the chance, you have to try this place!

The menu changes all the time which keeps the place interesting and new. The sampler plate is always fun. The chef will give you three dishes but you have no idea which ones. This is a great place to gamble and try it. All meals are delicious. I went with chicken mole. Wow, absolutely scrumpcious.

The menu changes daily, even from lunch to dinner. There are about 10 entrees with the option of having the chef select a sampling of 3 different entrees, and if the person you are with does the same, they will be different. That is what my husband and I did, and the food was exceptional. The first time we ate... More

I've eaten here quite a few times and always live the food - never disappointed. I usually get the Chef's choice sampler plate. The menus changes daily and they use a lot of organic local food. I like to go at lunch and it is a bit less in cost, but even at dinner is is not pricey. THe only... More

The menu changes twice each day and it based upon the chef's purchasing of local organic options. The atmosphere is fun and hip as well as the service! This resturant could easily be in any urban setting. Be daring and try the sample plate... chef's choice

We spent a lot of time driving from our hotel in Oro valley to venture down to this establishment only to be told that there was no way we could get a table. They would not even allow us to order something to go. We had arrived in Tucson that day and since we were here for a conference we... More

This is my favorite restaurant since the first time I visited. Love the fresh ingredients and changing menu. My favorite is the surprise plate as it lets you sample several of the items for the day. Always an awesome experience. Customer service is always great as well. Some of the best foods I have tasted in my entire life!
