Flavorful

We went there 2 times. It is located downtown but parking is not a problem as it is located at the bottom of a parking structure. They have very unique and flavorful eclectic menus. Not your average menu items. Small, noisy and depending on when you arrive, it can be a wait.

If you are looking for upscale, delicious and totally unique Mexican food you have found the place! All the dishes are look like art and taste like heaven. I always get the Plato Poca Cosa where the chef chooses 3 dishes for you. So, so good. Make reservations because this place is very popular.

I was here with my friends. This place is usually full so we did reservation table before heading here. The ambience is pretty good and the reception, menu and food as well. It was worth a visit at least once if you are in tucson.

This restaurant has been in Tucson for years and years. They keep the menu small and it changes daily. Your server brings a chalk board to the table and explains your options. The prices are high for mexican food but the atmosphere makes it worth it.

The menu changes twice a daily. Very unique Mexican entrees. Unlike any restaurant I have been to. Modern feel, menu presented on a chalk board but explained in detail by server. Nice attention to presentation. Met owner who was very professional and passionate about her restaurant. Great place for date night, dinner with friends or special occasion. Closed July 11,... More

This is the restaurant that you want to go to when you are craving incredibly fresh and inventive Mexican food. The menu changes twice a day depending on what is fresh at the markets. The chef seems to have an endless repertoire and each plate is a work of art. The décor is attractive and the owner greets you as... More

Went for birthday dinner to this highly toutedMexican restaurant in downtown Tucson. There is a limited set menu for lunch and dinner to choose from. There is a three meal combination which [a little from three different selections] - but the kicker is you don't get to pick]. that would have been okay except I do not eat beef and... More

Cafe Poca Cosa is clearly the best Mexican restaurant in Tucson. The menu is small and changes every day. If you can't decide, choose the plato Poca Cosa, which is a combination of smaller portions of 3 of their current menu items. All ingredients are fresh and the plates creative. I have eaten here many times over the last 17... More

We have been enjoying Susanna's culinary masterpieces for years, and I can't glow about her food enough! Very diverse offering, authentic Mexican, not to be confused with Sonoran, specialties, including Mole's, always a great seafood, and various wonderful dishes. I particularly recommend the Plato Poca Cosa, chef's choice. Never a bad meal.

Loved Cafe Poca Cosa. One of the best Mexican meals we've had outside of Mexico. The food was excellent, we chose the Chef's Sampler which had three different dishes. All were amazing. The place has great atmosphere and service was excellent.
