Charming resort, lovely dining room with elegant views of the Catalina Mountains and neighboring golf course. Excellent selection of tasty buffet items on the Sunday brunch menue--different every week, but always tasty (bottomless) blood orange mimosas. Ask for a table by the window.

The Grill at Hacienda del Sol is worth a visit even if you're not staying at the resort. The room itself is wonderful, with panoramic views of the entire city of Tucson and a comfortable, Old World elegance that makes any meal special. Service sets the experience apart from the minute you are seated; the staff is amongst the best... More

A friend took me to a belated birthday dinner. We were shown to a window table (very special, and I had not specifically requested it) and treated as if we were cherished guests. My friend and I both had the salmon roulade, which was a most unusual, attractive, and utterly delicious way to prepare the salmon--wrapped around spinach! With baby... More

The Grill at the Hacienda del Sol is a popular restaurant with a great city view. The service is impeccable. There is good wine list. For example, it had about 20 half-bottles of red wine to choose from. The courses were interspersed with little delicacies brought by the waiter. The foot is generally fine, expect a bit too heavy for... More

Every aspect of our dinner was perfect: food quality, service, live entertainment by a classical guitarist (Dr. Costa), excellent wine, a special "birthday dessert" for our honored guest!

Positives: the view from the dining room, especially with a table by the window, ambience, service, calamari appetizer was generous and delicious. The other lunch dishes we ordered were average. The asian ahi tuna salad was o.k., but I did not care for the greens nor the noodles. Serving size was generous. Bread pudding dessert was tasty, but on the... More

I definitely request calling ahead and making a reservation and requesting a table with a view, next to the windows, or even outside. The mimosas were by far the best I have ever had, and they had (not a huge selection) but just enough fresh seafood, pastas/salads, great breakfast meat and quality desserts. The grounds were very interesting and it... More

Several friends and I were visiting Tucson and had dinner here one night. We chose the outdoor restaurant area so we could watch the sunset while we dined, and it was beautiful. Live music was playing, the food and wine were extraordinary, and it was a very special night. I can't wait to go back when I'm next in Tucson.

We hosted a private dinner for 12 and everthing from planning to execution was handled in a pleasing, professional manner. We had a private room that was perfectly set up for our occasion, The preplanned menu was varied enough to accomodate a variety of tastes. The staff were very attentive and we could not have been happier with the service provided... More
