My favorite foothills restaurant, can eat in a formal setting inside with great views or the patio which is more casual. Great appetizers and salads, have music every week and the Sunday brunch is outstanding

I don't think we're fine dining kind of people. Though it was fun to eat things I've only heard about on TV chef shows, like an amuse bouche or carpaccio. My Shades of Chocolate dessert included a Saigon chocolate mousse that was great. And it was amusing watching the dance of the servers as they simultaneously served courses to the... More

Had the Southwestern eggs benedict -- indescribably sumptuous! The views from any seat in the restaurant are sublime! The service was a bit slow but the servers very nice and very polite.

We happened to dine on Monday evening, when John, the sommelier, holds a wine tasting. He selected four terrific wines. The view of the mountains and of Tucson from our table was stunning, the service and food great. I recommend the pork chop. We also enjoyed classical guitar by Eduardo. A perfect evening.

There are a few Sunday Brunch locations in and around the Tucson area; all quite good. This time, we decided to try the Grill at Hacienda del Sol. Initially, we were impressed with the surrounding grounds, architecture and dining room. In addition, the welcome greeting of all personnel was refreshing and let us know this would be a pleasant experience.... More

We had a very nice birthday buffet brunch Sunday. Go hungry! Excellent service, a surprising array of choices including thick bacon, sausages, blintzes, lox, California rolls, shrimp, omelettes to order, prime rib, ribs, fruits, breads/rolls, potatoes, eggs Benedict, and more, plus desserts, endless mimosas - two kinds, and champagne. $40/person. Nice setting facing the Catalinas. Nice ambiance, unrushed, non existent... More

We ate several meals here and honestly, the food is really as good as advertised. It is no wonder they're an award winning restaurant, the food is marvelous. The chile Rellenos was the best I have ever eaten! MmmmMargaritas, perfect!
