Appetizers were good, drinks are mixed well, however the food was slow to arrive to the table and overcooked. My steak was overcooked, the shrimp kebobs were overcooked, the crem brulee was lackluster, could have been much better and was a disapointment after reading it was in the top 6 of Tucson's choice restaurant. It truly didn't live up to... More

Food and service for dinner was exquisite. Wine list is extensive and impressive. You are going to pay $45+ for any bottle you would want to have sitting on your table. Food and presentation was outstanding - what I would EXPECT for the price.

Good food, good drink and a historical property. What more could you ask for? What a beautiful place.

We stopped here for a drink and an early dinner. The margarita we had was very good. The setting, a remodeled girl's boarding school, was delightful. I had the Niçoise salad, which was an interesting presentation with a poached egg. Quite good. My husband had the fish tacos which were also very good. Our server was attentive and helpful.

The food was excellent and the service was amazing. The view is wonderful, especially the night sky filled with stars. I highly recommend eating here.

My husband and I dined at this restaurant several years ago and had not been back until this past weekend when we were visiting Tucson again. Friends, who winter in the area, were with us, and we all had a wonderful evening. First of all, Hacienda Del Sol is really a beautiful property; it's charming, romantic and well located. We... More

We came here following 2 high recommendations and had really high expectations. We ordered the Terraza margaritas and they were very good. Then came the Crudo from the Sea...really horrible bland appetizer. I couldn't taste much flavor in anything on that. My wife ordered the Striped Bass and described it as terrible. Small, salty, weird sweet side sauce. I ordered... More

Three of us recently had brunch here. We were seated in the courtyard. When I called and made the reservation we were asked if we wanted to be seated inside or out. Well I said outdoors thinking it was on the terrace. Bad move. The courtyard felt like we were shoved out of the way. It was very busy, food... More

To be fair, we've had brunch and dinner here before and the food was good, however, on both occasions when we arrived for brunch, we feel as though our time was not respected - or our business for that matter. Most recently, our party showed up with no reservations for brunch on March 16th. The hostess informed us that without... More

We , two couples, were staying near this hotel/restaurant and decided to go there for their happy hour which is form 3-6PM. The appetizers were nearly full but we than ordered on order of chicken picatta which the four of us shared as an appetizer too. The ambiance, eating out of doors on the Terraza, and the excellent food and... More
