The wait can be off-putting for some folks, so weekend breakfasts probably are not recommended for impatient people. It is a relaxed place. Browse the constantly updated and fun to funky gift shop while you wait. This is a very busy seat-yourself restaurant. We were amazed that the servers didn't seem to miss anyone; they were aware of who had been served and who hadn't. They were also friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The food was very good. We split the vegetable stir fry and a side of the Cajun spiced blackened salmon. It was just enough... More

It'd been at least 10 years since I'd eaten here, and in those days, we'd always gone for breakfast. This was my first time for lunch. Nothing impressive (except for the gift shop), but everyone's food was good, according to them. I ordered the savory crepe (spinach, kale, portobello), but it wasn't available. I ended up with their Special (quiche... More

I am giving this joint four stars and I can't really explain why other than they have the cutest shop in the front (a la Cracker Barrell) with tons of unique little gifts, cards and books. The restaurant itself has a lot of seating, you actually seat yourself. The service we received was good, nothing more nothing less. The menu... More

I was sorely disappointed with my recent visit to the Blue Willow Restaurant, which has historically been a terrific dining experience. I had not been to the Blue Willow for about a year; this trip the food was fair and the service was non-existent. They are self defined on their web page as a “full service” restaurant, but I might... More

The Blue Willow is a foodie's delight, offering a creative menu with beautifully prepared and presented food. Our amply-proportioned breakfast was absolutely delicious. Whether you are watching your caloric intake or sliding into a slab of bacon, the Blue Willow is perfect for indoor and garden dining at its best. Our party of eight, including young children, parents and grandparents,... More

A friend and I recently had dinner on the (very pleasant) covered patio at the Blue Willow. We are both vegetarians, so were happily surprised by the number of vegetarian options available. I had a cup of gazpacho to start - which was flavorful but a little too thick with chopped vegetables for my taste. For dinner I had the... More

We had lunch after about a ten minute wait, not bad for Saturday. Husband had chicken crepes which he liked. Daughter and I had salmon cakes, both good, though I liked the spicy sriracha sauce while she preferred the tzatziki type sauce..three cakes each which we wished we had shared. We added hummus and pita bread which were good and... More

My husband and I ate dinner at Blue Willow based on good reviews from Tripadvisor and elsewhere. We sat in the covered patio where most of the other diners were seated. I'm sure it would be fine for breakfast, lunch or bunch, but for dinner it was almost picnic casual. Going with the casualness, we decided to have sandwiches instead... More

Mother's Day weekend is notorious in the restaurant industry for being one of the busiest weekends where service can be sacrificed, food depleted and wait times horrendous. We thought going to brunch on Saturday instead of Sunday might help in that regard. Though Blue Willow was busy on this mid-morning, we were seated within 20+ minutes of arriving. At least... More
