Still good

We had lunch after about a ten minute wait, not bad for Saturday. Husband had chicken crepes which he liked. Daughter and I had salmon cakes, both good, though I liked the spicy sriracha sauce while she preferred the tzatziki type sauce..three cakes each which we wished we had shared. We added... read more

My husband and I ate dinner at Blue Willow based on good reviews from Tripadvisor and elsewhere. We sat in the covered patio where most of the other diners were seated. I'm sure it would be fine for breakfast, lunch or bunch, but for dinner it was almost picnic casual. Going with the casualness, we decided to have sandwiches instead... More

Mother's Day weekend is notorious in the restaurant industry for being one of the busiest weekends where service can be sacrificed, food depleted and wait times horrendous. We thought going to brunch on Saturday instead of Sunday might help in that regard. Though Blue Willow was busy on this mid-morning, we were seated within 20+ minutes of arriving. At least... More

The first time I went the food was amazing, I remember raving about it for so long after such a great first experience. However I recently went back for my second time expecting the same excellent food and service and was sadly disappointed. I ordered the exact same thing as last time and it just wasn't the same somehow. Don't... More

The rep on Blue Willow was that it was the best brunch place in Tucson, and I can understand why. The restaurant is not that large, but I did not have trouble getting a table on the covered patio, which is really a good place to eat, as it has lighting and a light breeze like an outdoor patio without... Big selection, healthful, fresh ingredients, pleasant atmosphere, low prices, good service except when crowded. Great card shop (best in Tucson) with wonderful tchotchkes that you must walk through to get into restaurant.

What a pleasant surprise to walk in and see all the fun items in the store. Even better is the restaurant and the patio area. A feel good place with good food, good service and although a bit noisy, altogether a fun place to eat. Will go again hopefully for breakfast the next time.

Whilst everyone else was watching the ncaa national bball champ game we had a lovely meal here where they have no tvs(ok by us). The spinach salad with warm bacon dressing was great. My wife's pork dish with beans and sweet potatoes was fantastic and my gaucho steak was great except for the dipping sauce which had so much garlic... More

Greeters; very nice, wait staff; pleasant enough, food; my sandwich bread was completely burnt inside then scraped off. I thought it had a we so I looked. I was too hungry and pressed for time not to eat it. Every Tucsonan seems to love this place. I had avoided it because it always looked too crowded. They actually have a... More

Must make reservations and go hungry because you'll eat every morsel of these huge wonderful breakfast servings. This is the first air conditioned patio I've ever seen! Plenty of parking, a great menu and service that's quick and courteous. The surprise here is the joke/ gift shop at the entrance where you have to plan to spend a half hour... More
