Traditional Italian food & decor

Two of us had dinner, including a well prepared ceaser salad. Fast friendly service. Good house chianti. Large portions. Fabulous cannoli for desert. There are three dining areas, separated by large windows, creating a nice, open feel. Also very nice outdoor seating in front & back.

I've been to Michelangelo's several times in the last five years. The food and service is always consistent. The décor is beautiful. We were seated in the back room area and the place was packed. Our food was served fresh and hot and the servers checked on us many times making sure that our wine glass was full. This is... More

Great local restaurant for a night out. Tomato basil soup is worth the $2 upcharge. Meals are well portioned but not going to be huge but they are all homemade so more than makes up for it. The rolls are among the best in town.

I went twice to Michelangelo's restaurant over the past few months, and while I really hoping to find a nice, good Italian restaurant in Oro Valley, it can just not deliver. The price of the menu items hint for a restaurant that provide good or superior Italian dishes, yet the taste is ordinary, lacking the finesse and freshness you find... More

We went for dinner on a Friday evening and at 5:30 had lots of choices as to where we sat. We had an excellent waitress and the food did not disappoint. They now offer choices of roasted beet salad (excellent) or caprese salad with your entree. The choices tend to be more northern Italian

This looked like a fine little local restaurant in our neighborhood, and we wanted to like it, but after eating a very average and unexciting meal here, we both suffered severe gastric distress. Can't really even look at it anymore. Beware.

My husband and I tried to make Michelangelo one of our "go to" restaurants after a long day at work. After going for months and trying to make it work--- we just gave up! We had the same waiter many times and he acted like he never saw us before which was strange but not a deal breaker. However, our... More

We held a birthday dinner for my 90 year old Dad here. Great service and food was perfect. Veal Marsala and Veal Piccata were excellent. The Linguine Napoli is also a favorite. Their pizza is also very good. Really like the bruschetta appetizer. Desserts are homemade and wonderful.

Four of us dined together. Two of us had the tortellini which was superb. One of us had a chicken dish which was very good, and the fourth had the classic lasagna which she said was "too salty". I like salt, so I tasted it myself and thought it was very good and not too salty. My only disappointment might... More
