Great BBQ

Food was very good and service was as well. Friendly staff especially our waiter Tucker definitely ask for him if you plan to stop in. He was a delight.

Ate here several times - food is excellent, service is excellent, ambiance and surroundings are excellent. If you like steak - eat here, simple as that! It's a little bit pricey, so I'm going to have to click fine dining, but it's not fine dining - far from it, just good cowboy-style eating.

Great history. Fall or spring mostly for eating .... its mostly outside. Steaks good, sides ok. Dont miss your chance to go before it gets sold.

I've lived in Tucson since 1979, making me practically a native! I remember when 'Lil Abners was out in the boonies and a real treat. Went last night after a visiting friend wanted an authentic Tucson dinner to round out his trip. Bad idea! The place looks run down, but let's get right to the food. There were 3 of... More

Great family restaurant. Old time Tucson. Great food and atmosphere. John Wayne's favorite. My most favorite restaurant any where.

Li'l Abner's has the best steaks and T-bones I have ever had!. Their bread is also delicious and my husband loves the beans! We drive for 45 min to get there but it is worth it every single time.

The steaks are great. The sides are from the 70's. The decor is even older. This is a picnic table, casual atmosphere with silly things hanging on the walls. Sadly, the property is for sale.

Love the rustic atmosphere and the mesquite flavor! I live in Casa Grande and regularly drive in for dinner.

We arrived late one night, maybe 8:00 for dinner. We were seated quickly and promptly waited on. But, that's where the good service ended. There were two very large tables that were seated out across from us. They were tables that needed extra attention as English was not their first language, and they definitely thought they each deserved their own... More

Bone in ribeye cooked to perfection over an open pit mesquite fire. The staff are extremely friendly, just ask the pit boss about the history of the property.
