To sum it up in a few words "skimpy and way overpriced" for the amount of food and drink that was given. The atmosphere was like a cheep bar. I would think that to stay in business they will need to lower there prices and provide more on the plate and in the glass.

For the review above that says it is pricey for a steak and beans....they would be right...BUT you get a steak, salad, baked potato (or corn on the cob), beans and bread. So although pricey it is a good value. My husband makes amazing steaks on his grill and it has made us both picky when going out to eat.... More

I love this place every time my family comes in from Santa Barbara its their first stop! The steaks and ribs are amazing. Lots of history to this place it was a stage coach stop in the early 1800's. Be prepared to pay- its all worth it YUM !!!

We were there on a Friday night and there were only a few cars in the parking lot. Pricey place for steak and beans (7 oz filet for $26.95). We ate outside on a picnic bench. The waitress was great as was the food but no need to dress up. I had a baked potato and salad for $8.00. Drinks... More

Well, being a native of the area I have frequented this former hole in the wall for 4 decades. In the 1970's, it was possibly the best steak house in the Western United States. Wow, how times have changed. Surrounded by subdivisions and strip malls, the ambience is miserable compared to when it was 10 miles out of town. Honestly,... More

We had not patronized Li'l Abner's in about 3 years. Last trip, my wife and split the large Porterhouse steak, and it was very good. This visit, we arrived around 6:15 on a Friday night fearing we would have to wait for a table, but there were less than 10 cars in the parking lot. I explained to the server... More

I have eaten at this restaurant several times over a couple of years time and I have to say that the food here is amazing... I normally get the ribeye steak, which comes with a salad, beans, bread, salsa, and the option to get either a piece of corn or a baked potato. You need to dip the bread in... More

We went here thinking it may have gotten better over the years.. We were so wrong!!!! My husband and I split a rack of ribs..they charged us for an extra plate, we had to purchase the sides separately and the ribs came out upside down, no flavor at all, greasy and the "BBQ" sauce was given on the side, which... Li'l Abner's is my favorite steakhouse for casual dining. The staff is very friendly, attentive and knowledgable. The atmosphere is rustic, and rustic in a real, old west fashion. Customers range from tourists to businessmen to ranchers to local folks with their families. One has the option of dining outdoors during the beautiful Tucson evenings. Meats are cooked on a... More
