As with everything great, one must first seek the roots. In our case, we are lucky enough to have our first restaurant, Wildflower, continuously thriving and serving the local and die-hard fans of Fox Restaurant Concepts in Tucson. While our seasonal menu changes with the calendar, the walls and décor with the years, the one thing that has remained steadfast and true is Wildflower’s carefully constructed plates, artfully shaken martinis and loyalty to its guests. You could call it a long-term love affair, and you’d just be scratching the surface.

The service has declined, as well as the quality of food. Pricey and noisy. The patio seating is very nice. This is not one of our choice restaurants anymore. There are so many good places to eat in the Tucson area. This is not one of them in recent years.

Was so looking forward to lunching at one of "the top five restaurants" according to Tucson Lifestyle magazine. Both the interior and the patio ARE lovely but the food was mediocre at best. My companion's pastrami and swiss sandwich had an enormous pile of what looked and tasted like grocery store deli pastrami topped with a thin suggestion of cheese... More

This is a great restaurant which I always take out of town guests to because it is so wonderful and upscale, but in a very Tucson Chic way. Eating on the patio is a delight with comfy chairs, large tables and fabulous service. Had lunch there two days in a row!!! As a vegetarian sometimes restaurant food gets old, but... More

We have had lunch here several times and enjoyed good food and service each time. Recently we picked Wildflower for a special occasion dinner. Occasionally one person in a party of six might not like their dish but when appetizers, 4 of 6 mains and 5 of 6 deserts were pushed aside we were embarrassed that we had recommended this... More

Food was excellent. My wife is a vegetarian, but they accommodated the menu for her easily. We started with a really good sourdough bread with dip that we devoured, then had the grilled artichoke (which I am dying for right now!), the Lemongrass skewered scallopes were amazing, which I had with "shrimp-noodles" instead of rice. My wife had spinach pappardelle... More

Reservations are a good idea. We were seated immediately. We recommend you ask for a booth or a table near the wall for some privacy. The service was excellent. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We both enjoyed the bocconcini salad, spicy shrimp, paella, key lime tart and silk chocolate mousse. Their bread was divine. If you are looking... When the locals go to a place so shall you. When in Rome….. One of Fox's first (if not the first) of his restaurants Wildflower offers a great and exciting menu with plenty of fresh choices, quality wine selections and lots of good vibe.

I really can’t add anything very worthy to the review that were previously posted. I made reservations for 5:30 so we could beat the crowd and the noise (previous reviews state it gets noisy inside). The hostesses that met us were probably an area that this restaurant needs to improve. Honesty they were no better than the average Chilli’s. They... More

I went before 6 tonight without a reservation and they graciously let me have a table if I could done before 7. If the food is good, of course! The food is killer. I had the edamame wontons in a savory broth and then the glazed pork tenderloin, served with Mac and cheese and broccoli, though it looked like broccolini.... More
