Went for dinner around 530 on a weeknight with another couple in late April. Not much to look at from the outside, but pleasantly surprised at the trendy-ish decor in. Mostly older, professional-looking crowd, no kids. Place was about half full. They were short a waiter, so the service was a bit slow at first. Waitress was really friendly. Rolls... More

The restaurant's food is exceptional. I had the 3 Chef's Special and my wife ordered the Veal Piccata. Both meals were seasoned to perfection. The hostess seated us right away as we entered the restaurant. The waitress anticipated our every need, checking on our water, bread and wine. The chef came to our table to inquire if all was all... The first time we went the restaurant was closed, despite voice message announcing hour of service and the sign on the door tough. Have Groupon though, will persevere! The wine list was pitiful, the service was slow, but the food was vert tasty. I'm not sure the theme they are going for... High end prices, low brow t.v. At bar.

We tried this place on the wednesday before Valentine's day. It was pretty dead; just 2 other tables We were asked if we had a reservation, we didn't and they seated us anyway. Pleasing atmosphere. I had the meat lasagna, my husband had the Chicken Piccata and both dishes had very good flavor, but on the salty side. It was... More

Upon our arrival at Bell D'Auria we were asked if we had reservations which we didn't. We were therefore told that they couldn't accomodate us so we asked if we could sit at the bar which had numerous stools available and nobody occupying any of the seats. We were told that would be fine. Before we had the opportunity to... More

We called for reservations, left our number per instructions, along with the time and date and number in our party for call back to confirm--twice. The next day I finally got a hold of a real person that told me our requested time slot was filled (?) but she could accommidate us an hour later. We took that, and walked... More

I ordered a gluten free dish because I have Celiac disease They ran out of the pasta so the waiter said he could just give me a chicken breast and small salad instead turned out to cost me a lot more. Also the waiter had a rude jokes. We also sat for quite awhile with empty glasses. The food was... More

On 27 Jan 2013, we joined a couple of our dear friends for dinner. We meet at Bella D' Auria in Tucson, Arizona. We were delighted at the appearance of the restaurant. Bright colors, and lots of space. The service was very good and the food was excellent. We felt like we were back in Italy again. Our waitress was very... More

My husband and I just returrned from dining at Bella D'Auria tonight and had a wonderful experience! After reading some of the reviews I held my breath for I have never written a negative review, nor am I tonight. We were joined by another couple and they enjoyed it as much as we did. We had a Groupon so it... More

We had reservations but would not have needed them. The rolls were fresh and very soft. The Puccini Chianti was excellent. My companion, however, said her veal dish was too lemony. I enjoyed mussels marinara over spaghetti. We shared a spicy NY calamari appetizer, which had a pleasant little punch to it.
