5 star pizza

I've eaten a lot of pizza over the past five decades (that's just pizza-eating decades), and this is an excellent pizza restaurant. We had a mozzarella salad appetizer with lovely chunks of lightly toasted bread for dunking. It was great. The prize, however, was one pizza half-and-half with... read more

We had read that this was the best pizza in town, but we weren't very impressed with the one we had. We got the one with mushrooms, olives and fresh arugula, but the toppings were skimpy, and lost under the huge amount of greens piled on top. Not sure what the fuss is about--we won't go back.

I was recommended this by a trainer at Loews Canyon Resort. As a fellow foodie, Valerie raved about this pizza. Absolutely correct. Delicious!!!

Scordato's Pizzeria is tucked away in a corner of St. Phillip's Plaza. Upon entering you are in a cozy bar cocktail lounge that is pretty inviting and may want you to linger for a few drinks. But we were there for the pizza that I had heard was spectacular. The dining areas are in the back of the restaurant and... More

I stopped here for a leisurely lunch with a girlfriend. Nice wine list, including multiple wines by the glass. Even though they were busy, service was good and we were never rushed. The chicken salad with tomatoes and mozzarella was amazing. I have never tasted such light mozzarella - like little pillows of cheese. Very good bread accompanied the salad.... More

This is an above average place to go for pizza. We added a couple of ingredients to one of their pizzas to customize it. We really liked the crust. Everyone was very friendly.

Stopped in twice while cycling the river path in the Foothills area. Great little patio where we could store our bikes.

Wanted a couple pizzas to take out and watch a ball game. Got the margharita and one with arugula and prosciutto. Both were very good. Also got the house salad that I thought would be more then just lettuce but it resembled a Caesar with a different dressing. Salad was boring.

I am frequently in Tucson visiting family and friends. Each time I come, Scordato's is a must! Food is consistently good and one of the best pizzas I've had outside of Italy. Nevermind that I'm from NY. I love their pizza! Try the warm mushroom salad (not on the menu).

We discovered Scordato's last year on our annual trip to the gem shows. Going back this year found it just as good. Splitting a great salad and pizza is just right for us. Pleasant setting in nice location. Only bad thing is having to wait a year to go back,
