This restaurant has fantastic, perfectly seasoned food. Each dish is unique. I am not a vegetarian, but I love love good food! A great deal of thought has been put in to every aspect of this restaurant. The tables are meticulously spaced to allow private conversation. The walls are full of local art. This is a fine dining experience. VERY... More

Haven't visited many vegetarian/vegan places but this was probably the best one I have checked out. Started out with an Asian salad that was not overdressed, allowing each ingredient to stand out. The owner actually took my order so I asked her suggestion for dinner. She recommended the eggplant ratatouille. I took her suggestion and was glad I did. It... More

I absolutely loved the food there, especially the vegan cheesecake for dessert ! The place is small and cozy, although a little more light wouldn't hurt! It was a little expensive for what it was, but the food was still amazing !

Awesome vegetarian food with lots of vegan, gluten free and raw/vegan choices. The portions are very generous and everything on the menu is fantastic. The family who owns it, is just terrific. An absolute treat to eat here!

I loved that we could bring our own bottle of wine to drink. The food was the best vegan I have ever had. I had the Ratatouille and my friend had a salad...we were both in heaven! I liked it so much I had my birthday dinner there with 10 friends! And I'm a carnivore! I look forward to many... More

This food is so intelligently, lovingly and knowledgeably prepared. It's a JOY to eat. And it leaves you feeling terrific. Next day included. This is our big treat to eat here. Thank you thank you to the chef and owner. This place is a gift to anyone who sets foot it in it IMHO. BTW it's sound-proofed so that it's... More

This was one of the most delicious meals my husband and I have had, and we've eaten at some lovely restaurants in our hometown, Chicago. As a vegan, I am so appreciative of this opportunity but you don't need to be a vegan (my husband is not) to recognize the quality of the food, the presentation and the service. We... More

Our meal was a delightful offering of unusual tastes for us. We are not vegetarians, but wanted to dine somewhere a bit different. This little restaurant fit the bill and was a pleasant surprise. The cold carrot and avocado soup was very good, the spring rolls large and crunchy and the perfectly cooked sweet potatoes with cocoa and a hit... More

The Tasteful Kitchen is the perfect place for a unique, conversational, or intimate dinner! I've been twice, once with my husband for our anniversary and once with family, and both times were wonderful. The food is deliciously simple and created using whole ingredients. Alcohol is not served, but they do have a $5 cork fee if you'd like to bring... More

Entree, soup, main course... all were notable only for how utterly bland they were. Service was pleasant but otherwise unremarkable. Atmosphere is achingly dull. And don't bat away this review assuming it's from a ravenous carnivore with over-revved taste buds. I was a vegetarian for more than two decades and a vegan for more than half that time. I know...
