Excellent Mexico City Style Mexican Food

We eat at La Parilla Suiza at least weekly. Try the melted cheese platters with fresh tortillas. The salsas are excellent and the Pico de Gallo is always rated as one of the best in Tucson. I like the salsa and chips. The service is usually pretty good but sometimes they disappear and forget you're there. The food is always good and consistent.

The food, atmosphere and service was exceptional. The Shrimp Enchalida was the best I've ever had. We'll be back.

Definitely above-average food and atmosphere. My green enchilada sauce was very fresh and very flavorful. The shredded chicken plentiful and well prepared. My husband's carne asada was just the way he likes it. Our son enjoyed the simple kids' menu. I'm not sure what the particulars of "Mexico City cuisine" consist of, but you won't feel lost here. Quite a... More

This was our 1st time at this restaurant, and I have to say, it wasn't the best. The food was decent, however the service and the manager were awful. We were a big party of 18 people so I understand that our food will take longer than normal, but we waited an HOUR for 3 appetizers, all of which consisted... More

Locate close to Interstate 10, this nice restaurant is easy access for anyone traveling between Tucson and Phoenix. The Mexico City cuisine is very good and quality was excellent. The exterior of the building does not convert the welcoming spaciousness within. Enjoyed a very good meal and would be happy to return.

Went here with my family during a trip to visit brother in law. Was a nice place to have a family dinner. Didn't need to worry about having a good time and bothering people. Food and location were very good.

In town for the gem and mineral show and got the urge for Mexican food. Our old standby, La Fuente, had closed down so we found this one on Trip Advisor. We were all impressed with the Cadillac margaritas. Good and strong and very tasty. We were also impressed with the chips and salsa service. They bring a collection of... More

The food is delicious and the service is very good. The servings are generous. Dessert choices-Flan is by far the best. Fried ice cream is so-do. We meet friends here several times a year.

We've been going here for years (the Oracle location). We love their Mexico City style Mexican food that adds bacon to your food. We also loved the apple dressing they put on the salad that came with meals. And the refried beans were to die for. We had a favorite server as well, but I think her hours were cut... More
