We went to La Parilla Suiza to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday with friends. Our waiter was kind enough to alert us that it was happy hour but almost over so we could order items, which we did. It took awhile for him to return to our table to take our actual dinner orders. My daughter and I are highly... More

It was our first time to this restaurant. The staff were very nice and welcoming. The quality of food was good within a reasonable price range. They have live music as well. The Margarita was really good. Overall I highly recommend this place.

Decided to give this La Parilla Suiza a try for lunch. Nice triple salsa (red, tomatillo, & mixed tomato & onion) w/ chips to start. Ordered the enchiladas w/ beans & rice. Enchiladas were good, but not very hot, temperature-wise. Beans came in a separate bowl & were okay. Service was attentive, especially keeping the drink glasses full.

We were a large party of 8 and the waitress took the time to get the order right for each of our meals. The appetizer accidentally came without chorizo and they provided excellent customer service and took it off the bill. I highly recommend this restaurant. Great authentic food!!

We visited here as a large group of nine and were seated at tables within the bar area. Our server was nice at first but gradually seemed to grow disinterested in us after accidentally serving diet cokes and dr peppers to the wrong people. The food was delicious but there were a few things presented strangely like one person had... More

Maybe it was M. Breylin, the stiff waitress with the chilly demeanor, who set the tone for me not liking this place. My partner liked her dish okay while my enchilada was cold and I didn't like not being told my meal came with a salad when I (unnecessarily) ordered salad - plus I tend to get irritated by things... Delicious soft taco of shrimp, bacon, etc, etc. Wonderful refritos. Good margaritas. The other three people with me liked their food but it was hard to pay attention while I ate my lunch. Pretty place, service is slow. We were there for a latish lunch, only a few tables, staff outnumbered diners. The wait was worth it.

Many reviewers pan this branch of the local restaurant chain. They have it right! Compared to other branches of this place, the menu is very limited. Our chicken mole and chicken/chips arrived long on tortillas or tortilla bits and short on chicken--you need a map to find the meat. The plexiglassed, noisy kitchen added little to the ambiance. The Tortilla... More

Both branches of this restaurant (on Speedway and on Ina) are busy all the time, both lunch and dinner. This is a restaurant you can visit multiple times, with an extensive menu of dishes that are tasty and well prepared. La Parilla used to specialize in Mexico City food, which made it different from most restaurants in the city; however,... More
