Solid and worth at least one visit for that something different

This restaurant surprised me in a good way. Tucson, at least in my estimation, doesn't have the quality ethnic spots that, say, a Cleveland has. Since Cleveland was a port of entry for many immigrants that makes sense. I didn't know there were Slovenians until I went to Cleveland. I wouldn't say... read more

I have written one review for this place previously, but after trying new dishes felt I should write another. Came in after doing a walk at Reid park with my two preschool age children. There was only one girl working the dining room, and she was semi busy. This did not effect her at all, she managed the floor perfectly... More

We really enjoyed the stuffed cabbage and loved the fried potatoes that came with the kielbasa. I do think the kielbasa (white) was a bit dull, but we liked our server, the cuteness of the restaurant and the very clean rest rooms. We look forward to a return trip to try a couple more things. Be advised that portions can... More

We've driven by this little place for three years, always meaning to stop in , but, well, you know. Today we finally decided to stop. So really glad we did. Not a posh, yuppy, urbane environment. Reminds me of many of the little Mom and Pop places I used to frequent while stationed in Germany in the 70s. Quaint and... More

Having spent some time in Poland last August, I was very pleased to find this restaurant in Tucson, where we live. This restaurant has good and authentic Polish food. We ordered one combo meal for two people, and everything tasted good. It was enough for three of us, really. The atmosphere is pleasant, not posh, but with a feeling of... More

Our Innkeeper was not familiar with the Polish Cottage, but we stuck with our plan and had an excellent Polish dinner. The waitress helped us select our dinners from a reasonability priced, extensive menu. The choices she help us select turned out to be outstanding choices. I had a combination plate of Polish delicacies, which were well prepared and very... More

My wife and I had dinner there. We ordered the combo plate for two. It was good, but there was nothing exceptional - it included stuffed cabbage (we've had better), pirogi (OK), kielbasa (nothing exceptional) and sour cabbage. All-in-all - average.

We visit Tucson regularly to see family. My brother introduced us to this restaurant last year. Each visit, our experience has been very consistent. Good hot authentic food like my grandmother used to make, cozy atmosphere, clean establishment, and impeccable service. It's like eating a home cooked meal at your Polish cousin's house. We have tried many of the things... More

I was hungry for pierogies and saw that this restaurant has them on their menu. My husband is fond of sausage and other Polish delights. We decided to try the Polish Cottage. This is a quant, nicely decorated and VERY clean little restaurant. While my husband enjoyed his dinner, I was not totally satisfied with my pierogies - not because... More

From the moment we arrived, I knew we were in for a treat! The staff was friendly and the food was so fresh and tasty. I rarely get desert, but just could not pass up the homemade cheesecake. Every part of the Sampler Platter was so flavorful. We literally drove over 1,000 miles just to eat here--and I would do... More
