Decided while on our trip to Phoenix to stay in Tucson for a Padre game. On the way to the hotel, we found The Polish Cottage....what a thrill.......We had both soups, the borscht and the pickle soup, shared a combination platter and an order of potato pancakes. Washed it down with a Polish Beer and life is good....good to know... More

This place is a charmer once you step inside, with very friendly and helpful staff. I've always been a sucker for atmosphere that matches my food, and it did not disappoint from the decor to the music. We ordered the stuffed cabbage, potato pancakes, cucumber side dish and pierogies to share. The stuffed cabbage melts in your mouth. It is... More

My fiance and I tried this on our third night in Tucson on a visit from Phoenix. Partly because of the reviews on this site and partly due to it's location near the hotel. We could not have been more pleased. We had the combo appetizer and Bison Perogies which were a special for the evening. Everything had a "melt... More

From the outside I would never have gone in.....glad I did. The food was good and the atmosphere different. This was the first time I heard Doo wop in Polish. The bread is amazing and my husband loved the potato pancakes. The staff are sweet and caring. Try it, it's really very good and pleasant.

Above average cost for below average food? No thanks. Their pierogi left much to be desired. I left feeling ripped off.

Went with friends to this charming little place and were blown away by the food. Everything was homemade and plentiful and the traditional music playing in the background was enjoyable. We loved the large selection of beers, vodkas and wines too. We started with the picle soup and also the beet soup. Both were great. The special was a wonderful fresh... More

Being a native Chicagoan of German descent, I have had the opportunity to eat at what I consider to be some of the best European restaurants in the nation. Polish Cottage is up there with some of the best. Went there with family members for an early dinner and we all enjoyed everything we ordered. I had the combo plate... More

We drove by this place on route to a business meeting and saw Polish Restaurant on the sign, how surprised I was to see that sign! So the following evening after touring a nearby museum we stopped by for dinner. I had the best pierogies like my Mom used to make! I got the assorted ones so I tried them... More

Talk about unassuming. This little place is tucked into a strip mall along the south side of East Broadway. But once aside, you can tuck into a Zywiec (12 or 16 oz - go for the big one) and picture yourself back in Warsaw. The food is just right ... simple, authentic and yummy. Guess the pickle soup isn't simple... More

I thought you had to be in Chicago to get good Polish food--wrong! We liked it so much we went back a few days later. Cabbage rolls, pickle soup, four different savory pierogis--all excellent. The mushroom filled ones are the best I've ever eaten. Good selection of Polish beers, very friendly service. A must stop our next visit to Tucson.
