I feel bad about not giving this restaurant a better review, but it just was not there. The outside is not very impressive, but that is OK; we have had great sushi from some pretty scary locations. The inside is pleasant enough, and the service was good. We had hot green tea, as we always do with sushi. Some really... More

We ate at Kazohu after looking at ratings on tripadvisor and yelp. Nice interior, very good service and some of the freshest sushi I have tasted. Good value with free miso soup, edimmami, and ice cream.

I go here every time I come to Tucson and I continue to enjoy it. It is rarely crowded which surprises me because it is so good. I generally get sushi which is delicious but my daughter tells me that their kitchen entrees are also amazing. There are great deals and every meal comes with miso soup, ice cream, and... More

This is a great restaurant! They bring you free miso soup and edemame to start. There is a wide selection of foods, including many different sushi rolls and cooked entrees. The fish is fresh and reasonably priced. My whole family loves this restaurant, and we make sure to come every time we visit Tucson. It's never very crowded, probably because... More

I'm used to Japanese restaurants being well lit, clean and modern. This place has some of that but it struck me as dated and just not as friendly as others I've been to. We tried the California rolls-- just average. The Katsu Donburi was OK but nothing special. I give it a "B" grade. The noodle dish was huge and... More

This is among the best sushi I have had anywhere, and I have had very good sushi in my travels, including Japan. You wouldn't guess it from the restaurant's appearance, but don't let that ugly parking lot and average restaurant look fool you. You probably won't see a crowd of people standing in line either. We had a late lunch... More

This place definitely has the best sushi in Tucson. Vegetables are the freshest in the area, and service is great. Definitely recommend as a go-to sushi place!

Humble exterior, very comfortable interior. Full Sushi bar...check. I chose a table and ordered the SS 2, two spicy rolls and three pieces of sushi, chef's choice. Miso was very good. The spicy rolls were well above average. Frankly, I couldn't believe that the sushi I was eating was in the price range I was paying.

Very surprisingly good in an inland city. Unusual for us at least in the selection of specialty sushi. kamikaze and others had cooked parts and cold parts, quite different, and enjoyable. Not busy on a weekday.

Went here at the advice of others on trip advisor. It was great! This is not a fancy or well adorned restaurant, but we went for the sushi. It was wonderful! Recommend the chefs choice with California roll. It was delicious. The miso soup and complimentary plum ice cream was fantastic! Highly recommend Kazoku.
