Weekend breakfast place

Saturday was the first dining experience at this location, and I have not been to the original site. My friend and I used Yelp to find restaurants near the Foothills Mall and this place showed up. We had planned on eating lunch, but Mosaic Dos serves lunch until noon on Saturdays and Sundays, so... read more

Zero percent of the price of your meal goes to ambiance, here: it all goes into the quality of the food. Superb, caring service, totally authentic Mehican victuals, amazing Margaritas as well. Can't go wrong at this place. Seriously Mexican yummy.

The food is every bit as deliscious at Mosaic original, but we could really enjoy the experience because the clamor was absent. Yes, the space was almost full of diners but my husband and I could enjoy our very yummy dinner and some quiet conversation without feeling battered by noise.

Decided to stop in again for breakfast. The service was really good and fast. Ordered a quart of salsa to go. The food was good and I would recommend this restaurant.

If you want good Mexican food and a pleasant experience you must go to the Original Mosaic at Grant and Silverbell. You will not be disappointed there. Mosaicas Dos has just never lived up to it's original Restaurant. Service is not good, the food is mediocre. I quit going to "Dos" along time ago as did many customers that I... More

Stopped in for breakfast and it was the usual fare, the food was good, we were the only customers in the place but before we left three other people came in. As I've stated in other reviews of this restaurant, it's OK and we recommend the place.

Walking in it appears to be one of those family restaurants, simple atmosphere. When they brought the chips and salsa, I was impressed with the salsa. They had a few specials, but ordered the chicken mole. Wow! I have never had mole like that. Very enjoyable. Totally impressed with the taste. One piece of chicken was a little tough, but... More

I was in town and using Verizon store next door, and decided to have breakfast here. They offer Menudo on Saturday. So the condiments were missing the oregano, they were out of the standard toasted Borlillo bread. The red menudo was just ok. They make a mound of hominy on top but they were short on meat. So if you... More

Nailbanger Here Again; They make their own Fresh Flour Tortillas here everyday but Sunday. The Salsa is exceptionally good. They have a fairly large selection of standard Mexican fair ie Tacos Enchiladas,Chimichanga`s and so on.I had a Machacha Chimi and a side Chili Relleno, both excellent.I will be back .Plenty of well lighted Parking.

I used to go to this restaurant weekly, and if I still lived in Tucson I would continue doing so. This place has great food, and delicious margaritas. I recently went back to visit Tucson and had dinner here. It is still delicious. The staff are very friendly. I usually go for one of their combo platters, and grab some... More
