I was in town and using Verizon store next door, and decided to have breakfast here. They offer Menudo on Saturday. So the condiments were missing the oregano, they were out of the standard toasted Borlillo bread. The red menudo was just ok. They make a mound of hominy on top but they were short on meat. So if you... More

Nailbanger Here Again; They make their own Fresh Flour Tortillas here everyday but Sunday. The Salsa is exceptionally good. They have a fairly large selection of standard Mexican fair ie Tacos Enchiladas,Chimichanga`s and so on.I had a Machacha Chimi and a side Chili Relleno, both excellent.I will be back .Plenty of well lighted Parking.

I used to go to this restaurant weekly, and if I still lived in Tucson I would continue doing so. This place has great food, and delicious margaritas. I recently went back to visit Tucson and had dinner here. It is still delicious. The staff are very friendly. I usually go for one of their combo platters, and grab some... More

We thought we should try this place for lunch since we love the larger place for breakfast. Service was quick and our food was served quickly. They do get busy for lunch so I would recommend getting there before the lunch crowd since its seems popular around here. I will try for breakfast next time. Since the food was very... More

I think this is a very decent Mexican restaurant. The staff was very friendly, but one girl went on a long break leaving the other to deal with the entire restaurant on her own. We ordered a cheese crisp with machaca (dried beef or pork that is re-hydrated- soooo good!) and green chilies. It came out quickly and was massive!... More

The food tasted just OK. Nothing spectacular. Customer Service also was OK. Not overly friendly. Just doing their jobs. We ordered appetizers (Plain Cheese Crisps) - which turned out to be something that looked almost like a Pizza - lots and lots of fried cheese on top of thin crisps, shaped like a large pizza pie and cut into 8... Delicious, handmade tortillas. I really like this location as it is convenient to Foothills Mall and Beauty Brands. So, I stop by often. Service is good and the food has never disappointed. Good chips and salsa too. We had breakfast there recently for the first time, I had Huevos Rancheros with a side of chorizo, and my daughter had the... More

I was in the La Cholla area today so I decided to go to the "Dos" instead of all the way west to the Mosaic Cafe. While much smaller, Mosaic Cafe Dos also lacks the ambience of the original Teresa's Mosaic Cafe. The chips were great and the salsa tasted a tiny bit like cleaner of some sort, but they... More

Fantastic food. Handmade and served with pride! It was like eating out of mama's kitchen! tortillias were delicate and buttery. Tortilla soup was flavorful and full of ingredients.

I had the machca, it was sweet which I did not care for, other wise pretty average. Salsa was very good. My wife had calabicitas which were barly warm so not so good. Beans are average. Had better meals here in the past. Don't think I will return.
